Chapter 74-1
Raven’s POV
I had no clue what the hell was coming over me, but it felt like I wasn’t in complete control of myself or my damn actions. I mean, yeah, I thought about jumping Cash’s bones, especially when he had sent shivers throughout my entire body from taking the lobe of my ear into his
mouth, but I didn’t ever think that I had it in me to man handle him like this.
Honestly, it felt like something, or should I say, someone else was inside my head, controlling my actions, as if fulfilling my darkest desires. Cash, of course, seemed to be liking every minute of it, but I couldn’t help but feel like I was becoming a prisoner of my own body.
Even though I knew they were my own desires, I didn’t feel like it was me acting on them, as my body was beginning to feel foreign to me. Yes, his lips felt incredibly amazing, and I honestly didn’t want to stop what we were doing, but another part of me felt as if this was going way too fast.
Unfortunately, right now, trying to convince my over–stimulated body that it needed to slow down and put the immense fire out that was in my core, wasn’t the easiest of things to do. If anything, my body was begging me to find some kind of release from all the sexual frustration that it had been feeling, not just with Cash but Chance too.
Unlike Chance, though, it didn’t seem like Cash cared that I wasn’t of age quite yet, as he took back control and his lips hungerly roamed my flesh, sending sparks of electricity throughout my entire being. You know when they talk about getting lost in the moment, I now understand how that statement was even possible, because he was making me feel things I didn’t want
to stop feeling.
Closing my eyes, I was just about to give into those desires fully, when I heard Evan’s voice carrying loudly through the open window in Cash’s bedroom, calling out for help, making my eyes pop open, as my head turned towards the window.
At first, I thought that Cash was going to ignore his father, as his lips remained on my neck, but then he shot right up from the bed, as he says, “My brothers, they are hurt.”
It felt like someone had hosed me down with ice–cold water, as the heat that Cash had lit in
my core, vanished in a matter of a second with the thought of Chance being hurt.
“What do you mean by they are hurt?” I asked Cash as I got to my own feet, moving towards the window to peek outside, hoping to see what was going on, as fear began to consume me that they too had been attacked by these rogue wolves.
Instantly, I saw Evan carrying someone wrapped in a blanket in his arms, while Chance

gingerly walked behind him only wearing an old pair of gym shorts, covered in what looked like dried blood. Mrs. Ryder appeared outside the house, moving directly to Evan, as I watched her peek under the blanket, and I could have sworn I heard her say, “Wolfsbane.”
I must have been lost watching what was unfolding outside, that I didn’t realize that Cash had left the room, because he too appeared outside, moving straight to Chance, lending him a shoulder to lean on, as he helped him into the house. Stepping away from the window, I felt lost in what to do, as guilt began to consume me that I was here at the house making out with Cash, while Chance and Chase were God knows where hurt. If it wasn’t for Evan questioning his sons‘ whereabouts this morning, it could have been much worse than it was already.
The sound of the screen door opening and then slamming, told me that they were all making their way into the house. “Cash call the pack doctor.” Mrs. Ryder cried out with what sounded like urgency in her voice, telling me that Chase wasn’t in good shape.
I moved out of Cash’s room, down the long hallway to the top of the steps where I froze when
I saw Chance holding onto the railing while he was slowly making his way up the stairs towards me. My heart sank in my chest, seeing all the dried blood on him, as my eyes scanned his exposed flesh, praying that the blood didn’t belong to him.
