Moon Phased: The Triple Claim novel Chapter 160

Chapter 85-1

Chase’s POV

It was clear that this doctor was mistaking me for my brother, but there was no need to go into the whole triplet thing with him, as what was most important now was finding out who this mystery man was that had visited Ms. Wilson before she passed

I am unaware of Ms. Wilson having a son. Did he by chance leave a name or contact information?I asked the doctor, trying to keep things professional like Cash and Chance would, when all I wanted to do was steal the security footage and see for myself who this socalled son of hers was.

The doctor looked over his shoulder, as if to make sure that no one had come through the door, before he leaned in and whispered to me, Alpha Klaus.

He then stood up straight before he continued to say, That is how he presented himself to me.”

My eyebrows furrowed as I stared at him, wondering why this socalled son of Ms. Wilson was introducing himself as an Alpha, as I wonder what he was an Alpha of. I mean yes, if he was truly Ms. Wilson’s son, then he would be of Alpha’s blood, but he would be packless and wolfless if this was even true.

What did this Alpha Klaus look like?I then asked him, curious to hear the doctor’s description of this Alpha, but what came from the doctor’s mouth wasn’t so helpful.

He was middleaged, had an Alpha structure, with dark hair and eyes, similar to Ms. Wilson. The doctor says describing him to me, but his description was vague, and I was hoping to get a lot more from him than just that.

I was just about to ask him to have this man pulled up on security footage and save us some time when he said to me, Oh, and I don’t think he was from this area.”

Why do you say that?I asked, wondering if we were finally about to get somewhere with the mystery

man.

It was the way he was dressed. No one around here dresses GQ like that. He wore designer clothes, brands that not too many in our area wear. Plus, he was dressed in all black, which no one around here

dresses like that.

I couldn’t hold back a growl that rumbled from my chest, frustrated with this doctor. If he had just started off with that, I could have saved myself five minutes talking with him, as there was no doubt in my mind that the man in questioning was the man that I had bumped into on my way into the hospital.

Did this Alpha by chance have a scar on his cheek?I asked the doctor, wanting to verify that the man in questioning was the man that I had seen.

Now that you mention that, I believe he did.The doctor said, agreeing with me, like that too was no big deal describing the man, and I had to wonder if this doctor had all brains and no common sense, which led him to work in a human hospital.

Did this socalled Alpha leave a number or an address to get ahold of him in case of an emergency with his mother?I now asked, hoping that this nitwit or the hospital was at least smart enough to have asked for emergency contact information from Ms. Wilson’s socalled nexttokin.

Chapter 25H

Unfortunately, I don’t believe that he did. Although I do recall him saying that he had just arrived in town, and that he planned on staying. I could be wrong though, because one of the nurses could have had him fill out paperwork when he paid for Ms. Wilson’s stay thus far.

I tried to refrain myself from strangling this damn doctor, as I was sure that this man had paid for Ms. Wilson’s stay thus far, then he had to have paid with a form of either check or card which could be traced. Thankfully, that was going to be nothing for me to be able to take care of once i got my hands on that information. But what he said that really caught my attention was the fact that the man said he was planning on staying.
