Moon Phased: The Triple Claim novel Chapter 213

Chapter 111-2

I should have known he wouldn’t just do what was asked of him, especially when it was me asking him, but I didn’t have time to play his damn games. What I needed right now, was for Cash to just listen to me for the first time in his life and do what I asked of him, but, of course, I too couldn’t control myself, especially when I said back to him, Well, if you weren’t such an asshole this morning to me, you would know what was happening. Just tell your damn Beta to run, before it’s too late.

Unfortunately, before Cash could even reply to me, I realized that my time had run out, and this rogue was about to make his move. I was now left with no other choice but to be seen by the outsiders if I wanted to put a stop to the rogue’s plans.

In the back of my head, I could hear Cash bitching up a storm about something. I had had enough of his babbling bullshit, and if he wasn’t going to listen to me then I was going to just shut him out.

But before I tuned his voice out of my head, I said quickly to him, Never mind, you’re too late.

Just as those words left my lips, and I tuned him out, I watched the rogue wolf step out of the darkness of the shadows. My head tilted slightly to the side, as I was taken back seeing that it was just a plainass rogue, doing the bidding for a higher up.

Nothing in this world irked me more than a coward ass Alpha hiding behind his men. It was clear that these socalled Rogue Alpha King heirs were nothing but a bunch of pansyasses, and it humored me to think that they thought that they were worthy enough to have our lands as their own. It was now clear to me why they had failed so many times to take over our lands from us.

Unfortunately, they were still capable of causing chaos and disruption, which was exactly what this fool right now was up to. It was definitely clear that he was only sent here to put fear into the pack, and boy was I going to have some fun making him pay for thinking he was capable of doing so on our territory

Stepping out of the shadows myself, I slowly made my way in the rogue’s direction, stalking him like a lion would stalk its prey, while I continued to look between the rogue and Mazie. As the rogue continued to silently make his way towards the parking lot, undetected by my peers, I began to hope that Cash might remove the stick he had shoved up his ass long enough to convey my message to Mazie to run.

But unfortunately, it wasn’t looking that way, as they all stood there in a circle talking to one another, not paying one bit of attention to what the hell was going on around them. Mazie displayed her normal displeased look on her face, that she always has when she is around Jessica, almost as if she was being tortured having to be in her presence, while Raven’s girlfriend from California was giving Jessica the stink

eye.

I have to admit that Raven’s girlfriend had balls, especially after I heard about her tasing the hell out of Chance last night at Ms. Wilson’s house, as she held Cash pretty much at knife point all at the same time. She was definitely a badass in my eyes, and she wasn’t holding back her dislike for Jessica with the look that was now present on her face.

The male friend, on the other hand, was definitely different, as I watched him hang on to every single word that came out of Jessica’s mouth, making me wonder if he had a thing for her, or if he was just trying to be nice. Either way, I could give two shits, because we were officially done, she just didn’t know it yet.

Sneaking now around a group of pickup trucks, I lost temporary sight of them, as I tried to keep low wanting to remain out of sight, but as I moved around the side of one, I almost startled Carl, who was

heading to his truck. Carl took a step back, but when he realized that it was me, he stepped to the side, allowing me to pass by, as he turned to see where exactly I was heading.

Carl wasn’t a fool, and knew that he would figure out exactly what I was stalking. I just hoped he kept it to himself until I was able to sink my claws into the rogue. Thankfully, as I made it the rest of the way around the back of his truck, he remained silent, as the rogue came back into my view.

But it wasn’t just the one rogue that came back into my view at that moment, but a group of five or six now began to emerge from the shadows, telling me I might just be in for more than I had bargained for.
