Chapter 114-2

Shockingly, the silver wolf didn’t veer from their direct path, but instead ran full force towards them, making me wonder if this group of wolves were his pack. As they approached us head on, I held onto the horse’s reins tightly, trying to keep my eyes open, because all I wanted to do at this moment was close my eyes, and pray to the higher powers to protect us.

I honestly don’t know how I was holding it together so well, as my eyes remained open, staring at this large group of wolves straight down. Clearly, I was holding my breath, as they were now only a few feet in front of us, but as the seconds ticked by, they were on us before ! knew it. The breath that I had been holding I let out, as soon as they raced right past us towards the group of wolves chasing us, allowing me to realize that they indeed were a part of the silver wolf’s pack.

My head at that moment turned to look over my shoulder, as I watched in horror, waiting for the two groups to collide with force, but to my surprise, that didn’t happen. Instead, the group that was chasing us came to a complete halt, gathering in a circle, as if they were wanting the other group to circle them.

Confused and knowing that we were no longer being chased, I pulled back firmly on the reins, bringing Cash’s horse to a halt, before I turned him around, wanting to witness what was about to go down. But the silver wolf didn’t like this idea, as he tried to nudge my horse to go, but I remained firm on my decision to witness it, as I held tightly onto the reins, while I watched the new group of wolves begin to surround the group that had been chasing us.

Unfortunately, they were a good couple of hundred feet behind us, and it wasn’t the best seats in the house to see what was happening, but I could clearly see that the first group was now outnumbered and had given up. As my eyes focused, I let out a gasp, as my heart began to race in my chest, thinking there was no possible way that I could be seeing what I was, but as my eyes focused in the center of the group of wolves that were chasing us, a man stood plain as day, buckass naked.

Honestly, I didn’t know if I should race back to help him, or if I should head straight back to the ranch to get help, as I had no clue what a man would be doing out here in the middle of

The silver wolf that had been escorting me back to the ranch at that moment stepped in front of me, as if he was trying to block my view, while he let out a sudden growl, almost as if he was trying to get me to turn around and leave. He clearly was becoming antsy about something, and I began to wonder if I shouldn’t just get the hell out of here and to safety, but for some unknown reason, I sat there on the horse just watching what was unfolding before my eyes, as if I was intrigued by it.

Whimpers now began to come from the silver wolf’s lips, and I turned my full attention to him, wondering why on earth he was acting this way, thinking that maybe he had hurt himself and needed help. But when I stared down at him, there were no visual signs that he was hurt, making it clear that he was whimpering to get my attention.

A growl at that moment echoed in our direction, making me look back up to the two groups of wolves, as once again, I was taken back with what I saw. Another man now stood naked with the wolves, but this one stood outside the circle with the other group. His back was unfortunately turned in my direction, and all I could see was his muscular frame from this distance, while I began to wonder where the hell these naked men were coming from.

But it didn’t take long for me to think that I was the one that needed to be sent back to the mental institution, as I watched a wolf right before my eyes shapeshift into another naked man. Instantly, I closed my eyes, thinking that I had to be losing my damn mind, especially after everything that I had been through. I had to believe that my mind was having a mental breakdown, and that all I needed to do to fix this was to breathe and slowly count to ten, just as the shrink had taught me to do.

Slowly, I took a deep inhale and as I let that breath out, I began to count to ten, while I continued to take slow deep breaths between each number, I said out loud. But as I counted, I couldn’t help but think how crazy I must truly be for my mind to conjure up something so

scifi as this.

When I reached ten, I took another deep breath before I gradually began to open just one of my eyes to peek out of. But as I slowly opened it, nothing would have prepared me for what I now saw. Shaking my head in disbelief, I realized that there was no exercise on this planet

back from what I was now seeing before my eyes, and that I was
