Chapter 118-1
Chapter 118-1
Raven’s POV

Jacob’s screams weren’t the only screams that filled the air, as many of my peers from school were screaming for their lives as they tried to make their way back into the school to safety. My eyes scanned the parking lot, as I tried now to find Lexi among the chaos.
When I finally spotted her, I should have known that she would be right in the mix of it all, as she stood side by side with a massive brown wolf, with what looked like her taser in her hand. Narrowing my eyes, trying to get a better look at the wolf that Lexi was standing beside, I realized that the wolf reminded me of no other than Mazie, making me realize that not only my boyfriend, or should I say boyfriends are werewolves, but also my best friend too.
I don’t know why I was so surprised, as I sort of figured that she was, but I guess it was the confirmation of actually seeing her in her wolf form that had put the icing on the cake for me. Thankfully, Lexi and Mazie seemed to be holding their own against the rogue wolf attack together as a team and were holding off the wolves from reaching Mazie’s car, protecting Jacob.
Knowing that the three of them were okay, my attention turned to the rest of the chaos going on, as it was clear that some of our peers weren’t as fortunate. Many of them were injured, trying to make their way to safety, as others were in the middle of fighting for their lives.
As we approached the sidewalk that led inside the school, I could hear the faint sound of a cry, making my head turn towards the bushes to spot a small group of underclassmen hiding within them. The smell of iron was potent in the air, and I knew that only one thing could cause that smell, and it had to be that someone was losing a lot of blood.
Steering off the sidewalk, I moved behind the bushes and my heart sank immediately in my chest, when I saw Tonya lying on the ground with a huge gash across her abdomen area. Two of the other freshmen cheerleaders were holding what looked like their gym shirts to her abdomen to stop the bleeding, but I knew that we needed to get her medical treatment fast, as it was clear that she was losing way too much blood.
I really wanted to look away, as the sight was too much for me to handle as I became squeamish, but I knew I needed to pull it together right now for Tonya’s sake. As I moved to kneel beside her, so did Cash, and he quickly went to work, assessing her wounds, while I grabbed a hold of her hand and began to try and tell her that everything was going to be alright and that we were going to get her the medical help she needed. But as I held her hand in mine, I could feel how cold her flesh was becoming, and I just prayed that I wasn’t giving her false hope.
“Can any of you drive?” Cash asked them, as he pulled off his tee shirt, replacing it with the one

The girls all looked at each other, before the one girl looks back at Cash, slightly raising her hand, as she says to him, “I have my permit.”
“That will have to do.” Cash said before he moved to pick Tonya’s frail body up from the ground, while I was forced to let go of her hand, so he could do so.
Tonya let out a scream from the pain, and all the girls‘ eyes widened in fear. I wasn’t sure if it was fear of their friend’s wounds, or the fact that one of the rogue wolves could have heard her screams. Either way, they all began to look around as if they were on high alert, as Cash stood with Tonya in his arms to his full height.
Spotting a car close to us with an open door, I quickly pointed it out to Cash, and without hesitation we all raced towards it. The girls all scrambled to get inside, as I held the back door open, waiting for Cash to arrive behind us with Tonya, while my eyes scanned the area we were in, praying that we got her in the car before one of those rogue wolves spotted us.
