Moon Phased: The Triple Claim novel Chapter 233

Chapter 121-1

Chance’s POV

Instantly, the rogues began to gun for Raven and Cash, especially after she brutalized one of them with what looked like a damn golf club. If she was trying to make a grand entrance into the battle.. she definitely nailed it.

Unfortunately, her grand entrance stirred up the anger in the rogues, and before I could realize what was happening, Cash’s wolf was speared in the side hard by a massive rogue. Without a doubt, I swear I heard one of his ribs shattering, and through the pain of it I watched him trying to stay balanced on his feet, knowing that our mate was in his care. But he had no control over what happened next, as her body went sailing off his back, hitting the pavement of the parking lot with a heavy thud.

Pain instantly hit me like a ton of bricks, and I felt my head begin to throb, but I realized quickly that it wasn’t my own pain I was feeling but Raven’s pain. Knowing that Cash was hurt, I knew he was in no position to keep Raven safe, so I moved to take a step towards them but was greeted by two

rogue wolves.

Honestly, I was about ready to lose my shit, as I was more than over these damn rogues coming onto our territory thinking that this land belongs to them, when in reality it never belonged to them. If I was being a hundred percent honest, it didn’t even belong to my family either, but I now felt like we were the protectors of this land and territory until the day when the rightful Alpha would return,

and that rightful Alpha I believe was our mate.

Jacob began once again to scream, and I never wanted so badly to knock someone out as I did

right now, because his earpiercing screams were becoming a bit too much, especially with my enhanced hearing. But as I moved my head slightly to look at what he was now screaming about, I

realized that he was pointing directly at Raven.

From where I was standing, I could see Raven’s body shiver as a rogue wolf hovered over her back,

breathing down her neck, but to my surprise she remained calm, as I watched her close her eyes.

At first, I wondered what the hell she was doing, but then I remembered those damn exercises that

shrink had given her back in California to do. Unfortunately, those exercises weren’t going to work

here for her, and if she kept them up, they were going to get her killed.

Seeing that Cash had his hands full, and that he was fighting through the pain, trying to keep the other rogue wolves from getting past him to our mate, I knew that it was up to me to help her. Gritting my teeth, I swung a heavy paw straight at the rogues in front of me, making the smallest of the two, go sailing in the air and hitting a parked vehicle with a loud thud, hopefully knocking him out for a while. Now that one of the rogue wolves was gone, I only had one more blocking my way

to my mate, and I made ease with him too, as I extended my claws and swiped them straight across his chest, making him fall to the ground in excruciating pain.

Now that those two rogues were out of my way, I moved to rush towards Raven, but as I took my first step towards her, Raven’s eyes popped open. Her eyes stared blankly straight at me, while watched her raise her hand with that damn golf club back in it again. Before I knew what she was doing, she spun her body around, swinging the golf club as hard as she could, nailing the rogue that was behind her, straight in the damn temple.

If we were in a cartoon, I was sure I would be seeing stars floating around the rogue’s head, as his eyes looked to instantly space out from the blow she had made directly to his temple. Within seconds after the hit, the rogue slumped to the ground, and Raven slowly got to her feet with the help of the golf club still in her hand, as I finished closing the gap between us, only having to deal

with one other foolish rogue that had tried to get in my way.
