Chapter 138-1
Raven’s POV
“I’ve been out for how long?” I asked, as I turned to look at Lexi, knowing damn well that it was her and her potion that had done this, while I continued to cough up the bite of soup.
Jacob pats my back, trying to stop me from choking on the soup, before he says, “Almost two days, but that was because Lexi had to find the ingredients to make another potion to render your heat.”
My eyes remained on Lexi, as they narrowed, while I tried to stop coughing long enough to ask her, “What the hell did you give me?” Because I wanted to know what the hell else that I had ingested on top of the vial I had willingly taken, knowing I was left with no other choice
at that moment.
But instead of Lexi answering me, Jacob began to fan himself, before he said, “Girl, you need to thank her, because those pheromones you were putting off almost were getting to me.” Making me turn to look at him, wondering what he was talking about, because there was no way in hell that he would ever touch a girl, especially me.
Jacob had always said that I was like his sister he never had, and the two of us had always been like two peas in a pod for as long as I could remember. Never once in the entirety of his life had he shown an ounce of interest in a woman, let alone me.
“Honestly, I must admit, I have never witnessed a heat as predominant as yours was. I am beyond surprise that your mates didn’t have you marked before we arrived.” Mazie then says, drawing my attention to her, as my eyes remained narrowed from being now totally confused.
Remembering back to when I was around ten, I remembered that my one neighbor, Carol Olson, had this little male mix–breed dog that would pee on everything, marking its territory for all the other dogs in the neighborhood to know that it was his. Just the thought of it now made my eyebrows raise, wondering if this was what Mazie was talking about, when she said about them marking me as theirs. Just the thought of it sounded absurd, but then on the other hand, how else did they mark what was theirs?
Lexi at that moment busted out into laughter, making us all turn to look in her direction, before she placed her hand over her mouth. I stared at her now, wondering if potions and electrical currents weren’t her only abilities, as it was clear she was finding something quite humorous, even though nothing funny had been said.
My eyes now narrowed even more as I stared at her, urging her to elaborate on what she

thought was so funny. Looking away from me, she cleared her throat before she says, “By marking, she means leaving their mark on you, as in biting you.”
“What?” I blurted out, thinking how awful that sounds, and how them peeing on me sounds a hell of a lot better at this moment, as I was sure it would be quite less painful.
Knowing that there was one person in this room that could confirm this, I turned to look at Mazie, who was now just standing there staring at me. “Is this true? Is that what they plan on doing to me?”
Mazie nodded her head ever so slightly, before she said, “That is how a she wolf is claimed by her mate. I know that it may sound painful, but I assure you that in the heat of passion, I am told that the pain is nothing compared to the pleasure you will feel from the union.”
My eyes widened as I looked at her, while a blush now formed on my cheeks, as I realized what she was saying. The thought of being intimate with all three of them separately was a lot for me to take in, but then my mind had to wonder, making it even crazier to imagine.
