Moon Phased: The Triple Claim novel Chapter 322

Chapter 161-1

Raven’s POV

My hands moved to cover my ears as a menacing laughter followed those words, but unfortunately, it did nothing to muffle it out. Instead, it made the laughter grow even louder in my head, making me leave out a scream of frustration, before I yelled out, Stop!

Carl instantly turned to look at me, as his eyes narrowed, obviously confused by my outburst, because, by the looks of things, I was the only one in this cabin that was hearing this damn maniac’s laughter lingering as I processed his words.

Blood of my blood.Began to repeat over and over in my head, as I couldn’t imagine that this could even be remotely true, nor did I want it to be.

Taking a step back from the window, out of the rogue Alpha’s view, I found myself standing in the middle of the cabin, just staring off into the abyss, as I continued to try and rack my brain around it, thinking that this had to be some kind of messedup joke. Unfortunately, I had watched enough episodes of Punked on television to know not even the producers of that show could come up with something so sinister as this.

I mean how damn poetic is it that the same beasts that were hunting me down to kill me were somehow related to me, making me wonder if this was some kind of messedup family feud that had been going on for generations now. If this was the case, I wanted nothing to do with it, and in all honesty, how were they even holding something against me that I wasn’t even alive for? I had no clue if it was something that my mother had done, hell, maybe even my grandmother back in her good old days, but either way, whatever their beef was, it wasn’t with me.

His laughter finally subsided, and for a moment I got the silence I had asked for in my head, allowing me to breathe for a second, but then he ruined the moment by breaking into my head once again by saying, What’s wrong Cuz? Is our world too much for you to handle? Maybe you should just give up and join your mother and grandmother in the afterlife.

My hands instantly balled into fists by my sides, as my eyes stared straight towards the window, while I tried to hold back the anger that was building up inside of me. But unfortunately, I had enough, and I couldn’t bite my tongue any longer as, Maybe you should go to hell.slipped from my lips before I could stop it, making Carl now look at me with suspicion, as he too stepped away from the window towards me.

You’re one of them.Carl says out loud, stopping just a few feet in front of me with a look of awe on his face, but I was quick to shake my head, no, not wanting to be even put in the same sentence as them, because I was nothing like them.

Chapter 161-1

Hell, I was nothing like any of them, as I wasn’t even raised knowing about their world, or that I even belonged in it. Plus, I didn’t even have a damn wolf, or at least one that was willing to show itself on its own, without being marked and claimed by my socalled three mates.

Jesus, as if I didn’t have enough on my damn plate, now I’m being informed that not only am I a wolf, but that I am somehow related to these crazy ass rogue Alpha wolves that attacked and murdered my grandmother and Josie.

I’m not one of them.I sternly said out loud to Carl, and I honestly don’t know if I was trying to convince myself of this or him, but either way, I was doing a piss poor job.

Carl clearly wasn’t buying it and neither was I, as I knew there was no way of denying it when I could feel the connection ripping away at my insides. Honestly, I had been up close and personal with two of these huge massive black wolves, but for some reason, this one was the first that I felt a connection towards. Come to think of it, this was the first one that actually tried communicating with me, instead of trying to kill me first.
