Moon Phased: The Triple Claim novel Chapter 327

Chapter 163-1

Raven’s POV

Oh, shit!Jacob screamed out as his knuckles turned white from holding on, while my foot hovered over the petals, confused about which one to hit.

I didn’t even need to turn my head to know that the pack of rogue wolves was directly behind us, but right at this moment, I needed to decide which of the two was the less evil to deal with. It was actually pretty simple, one Alpha verses a handful of his minions, which seemed like a pretty easy choice. That was until I realized that even if we somehow survived the rogue wolves, we were still going to have to deal with his ass too.

It was clear that he was the one around here pulling the strings, and to make all of this go away, we needed to eliminate the person giving the orders. Honestly, at this point, I was wondering if I had a damn death wish, because what I was about to do was probably the stupidest thing I ever decided to do, but at this point, what other choices did I really have?

I knew that Mazie and Carl were no match for him, and even if they worked together, there was no way in hell I could see the two of them taking him down. His wolf was at least twice the size of Mazie’s wolf, and as for Carl, he was holding his own with the regular rogue wolves, but honestly, I didn’t foresee him being remotely able to hold a candle to the massive beast in front of me.

Hell, I didn’t think even this heavy piece of machinery was any challenge to him, but it was the best shot that we had to immobilize him, and maybe if I could do that, it would give Mazie and Carl the upper hand that they needed to be able to take him on and possibly finish him off. I know it was all a long shot, but I had to do something, because, by the looks of things, none of us were getting out of this unless their Alpha was eliminated.

Honestly, I truly wasn’t one for violence, but lately I have been realizing that this was the only way to survive, and if that was what the hell it was going to take to save my friends, then this Alpha cousin of mine was as good as roadkill.

Slamming my foot down on the gas petal, I narrowed my eyes, and gunned it straight for his ass, as I opened my mind back up while I said to him in my thoughts, There’s a reason why the bounty on my head is so great, and you clearly underestimated me and my friends.

The massive rogue Alpha instantly bared his canines at me, letting me know that he received my message loud and clear, obviously not liking it, but then again, I didn’t care, especially after what he just tried to do to me.

Raven!Jacob now yells at me, as he is holding on for his life, and honestly. I wish I could

have let him out of this thing, but he truly was safer beside me, it just didn’t look like it at the

moment.

Hold on.Is all I said back to him, even though I didn’t think he could hold on any tighter than what he already was.

1, on the other hand, braced myself, knowing damn well this was going to hurt, but right now, it was the only option I had to try and help win this battle we had going on. Turning my head, I glanced over to make sure Mazie and Carl were hanging in there, but as I did, my eyes locked with Mazie’s wolf’s eyes, and I could clearly see the worry in them, as there was no doubt she knew what I was about to do.

With one swift move of her claws, she took down the rogue wolf in front of her, before she took off towards me. Knowing I couldn’t allow her to beat me to the rogue Alpha, I turned my attention back ahead of me, while trying to push my foot through the floorboard to make this damn thing go faster. Unfortunately, I must have already had it at top speed, because I wasn’t able to get it to go any faster than what I already had it going.
