Moon Phased: The Triple Claim novel Chapter 329

Chapter 163-3

Thankfully, we were far enough ahead of them, and as we closed in on Mazie’s location, I whipped the steering wheel, while I slammed on the brakes, spinning this damn thing right around, facing the rogue wolves, and blocking their direct path to Mazie. As I now stared down the rogue wolves coming straight at us, I felt a jolt of adrenaline rush through me, as I couldn’t help but feel a bit like Evel Knievel right now.

With my foot still on the brake, I placed my other one on the gas, revving the engine up, while I narrowed my eyes and patiently waited for them to get closer. Just when I felt like they were close enough, I let my foot off the brake, making the vehicle shoot out like a cannon towards the rogue wolves.

Jacob, at that moment, let go of my arm, as he let out a death piercing scream, almost sounding like a piss poor battle cry, as we headed straight towards the rogues, taking them by surprise.

I closed my eyes, just as the first impact happened, because the sound of it alone made my stomach curl into a knot, knowing that I very well could have just killed someone. But I quickly opened my eyes back up, as I reasoned with myself, that right now I was in a dire situation where it was killed or be killed, and I wasn’t going to allow these nastyass rogue wolves to kill me or my friends.

Unfortunately, when I opened my eyes, that was the same time that I struck my second victim, but this time the rogue wolf’s body was pulled under the tires, running him completely over. I hesitated for a moment to turn my head back to look, but I knew that I had to, because I needed to make sure that Mazie’s wolf had gotten to its feet, before those rogue wolves that got past me made it to her.

Thankfully, Mazie’s wolf was on her feet, and Carl had made it back by her side, as they both took a stance, bracing themselves for the impact from the rogues that were left running straight towards them. Slamming on the brakes once again, I brought the vehicle to a halt, before I turned the vehicle around, but as I did, my eyes landed on Cash and the rogue Alpha The two of them were deeply immersed in trying to kill each other, and Cash seemed to be holding his own, but I could see that they both were showing wounds from the altercation, and I began to worry just how much of the blood I was seeing in Cash’s silver coat was his

Turning slightly, I glanced over, making sure that Mazie and Carl were okay, before I once again was about ready to make an irrational decision. Thankfully, they were both holding their own, and by the looks of things, they had things now under control.

Knowing that Mazie was going to be fine on her own, I turned my attention back towards

Cash, knowing that I now had to do something to help him, because if it wasn’t for me, he wouldn’t be in this damn mess.

With my eyes focused on Cash, I said to Jacob, If you want to get out, now would be a good time. Before I revved the engine up once again, ready to do whatever it takes, to ensure that we all made it out of this alive, even if I had to take my own socalled cousin’s life.
