It wasn’t until I heard a slightly familiar voice say, “How poetic this is.” Did my head snap back to look at the ruthless Alpha rogue standing in the center of it all.

The earth beneath my feet began to shake, as I was beyond losing my shit, feeling his betrayal towards my mate as if it was my own.

His menacing laughter began once again, before it abruptly came to a halt, and he coldly said, “You all foolishly trusted me. Do you know how easy it was to fool each and every one of you? You were

all so damn smitten by the mate bond with Raven, that you all believed every single thing that I planted in your heads, including that Raven would die if you didn’t mark her. But I can’t take

complete credit for that one, as it has been a line of bull shit passed down over many moons,

leaving everyone to believe that her family was cursed. The truth is, yes, there was a spell put on her family, to lock away their wolves and their wolves‘ power, but it wasn’t exactly a curse.”

to my own, making me stop in my tracks, as I begall

But as my head crooks slightly to the side, wondering what the hell my father could be up to, Jacob’s laughter finally stops before he admits, “It was my damn key to the kingdom, and you all played your parts just right, handing it over to me on a silver platter. I couldn’t have planned this out any better.”

“Oh really? And was I a part of this master plan of yours?” Liam now asks, breaking his silence as, he steps forward, while my uncle’s wolf was slowly getting back to his feet, trying to place himsel between Liam and Jacob’s wolves.

“Actually, no. But in all honesty, this is even a better grand finale than I initially had planned out, How ironic is it that both you and your father survived and are standing here today.” Jacob nonchalantly says, as his wolf practically begins to snicker, after revealing what I would say has to be the biggest bombshell to me right now.
