Lexi abruptly stood up from the chair she had been sitting on, extending her hand for me to take, before reaching and placing her other hand on Mazie’s shoulder. Instantly, the room began to spin, and I knew exactly what Lexi’s ass was up to. It wasn’t until we landed safely at our destination, did I realize where the hell she had taken us to.

“Why did you bring us here?” I asked Lexi, as I sat up from the small twin-sized bed, shocked to see my old bedroom in my grandmother’s small house.

The corners of Lexi’s lips slowly turned up, forming the most devilish of a smirk on her face, telling me whatever her reasoning was, it wasn’t good, but when she finally said to me, “I thought that maybe a little payback was in need, seeing that this Jessica bitch and her mother had a hand in ruining our lives.” I couldn’t help but want to partake in whatever she had planned.

Honestly, I wanted so badly to make Jessica pay for all the wrongs she had done to me since I arrived here, but I never did, because I was too scared to do anything because her damn mother was the principal. But now that I know that her mother was as crooked as they came, I wasn’t so scared of making a little scene, especially now that I was to officially be their Luna.

But as I turned to look at Mazie, wondering if she was on board with this whole payback idea, she was already pulling my cheerleading uniform from my closet, as she says, “It’s Friday night, and I know where to find both of them.” Before she began to sway my uniform on the hanger, trying to tempt me to take it, telling me that she too was up for Lexi’s little idea for sweet revenge.

Seeing that they were both in, I couldn’t help but to snatch my uniform from her, while my own smirk formed on my face, before I finally agreed to this madness by saying, “You know what they say ladies, paybacks are a bitch, and ours is going to be the bitchiest of them all.”

“Woo-hoo! I can’t wait to see Jessica’s face when she sees you. She is going to flip when she sees that you bear the Luna’s mark. Tonight is going to be absolutely priceless!” Mazie then says with excitement, as she plops herself down on the bottom of my bed on her side, maybe showing even more excited about making Jessica pay than I was, but then, on the other hand, she has had to deal with her shit a hell of a lot longer than I had.

“Plus, ladies, let’s not forget her mother. I will make sure that she never shows her face in this town again. An eye for an eye.” Lexi now says with a fire in her eyes, determined to make Mrs. Jacobs pay, and I couldn’t blame her one bit for wanting to make everyone that was involved back then with her mother’s death be held accountable, as I would want to do the same thing myself.

“Then that settles it. Tonight, we take down the corruption from the inside, since our Alpha and his son were unable to do so.” Mazie said before throwing a few air punches, like she was pumping herself up, while Lexi plopped down beside her, and immediately I noticed the attraction between the two.
