Chapter 34-1
Chance’s POV
After the day I had, running in circles, and nowhere even closer to finding this rogue Alpha, it took all I had to take Raven home, and leave her there, as my wolf was on edge, wanting to protect his mate. What little hints of him being on my territory made me worried, because whomever this rogue Alpha was, he was good at covering his tracks, leading me to believe I had a serious problem on my hands.
While Raven was at school today, I had run the perimeter around her house at least a dozen times, and thankfully the rogue Alpha’s scent wasn’t anywhere present near her grandmother’s home, but I knew that it was just a matter of time before he found her. I was beginning to believe that I might be over my head with this one, as I had never dealt with a rogue Alpha before, leading me to realize that I needed the help of my brothers, but I knew
Chase was a wild card.
Nevertheless, we were brothers, sworn at birth to stand by each other for the sake of the pack. We needed to put our differences aside, and we needed to come together to deal with this problem that I had on my hands, because what affects me affects them too. But as I pulled up the lane to the ranch, I brought the truck to an abrupt halt, before jumping out to stop the fight that was taking place on the front lawn between the two of them.
“Enough!” I yelled with my Alpha authority, but it had no effect on them as they continued to roll around in the grass, trying to kill each other.
By the looks of things, if I didn’t stop this soon, Cash was going to leave a permanent scar on Chase, and I honestly didn’t feel like explaining this one to our father, even though I am sure Cash had his reasoning. Nevertheless, it looked like Cash had gotten in a few good shots, and it was time to call it a draw, because Chase was too damn stubborn to tap out when he knew he was beaten.
“Have it your way then boys.” I said under my breath as I began to strip my clothes off, before I shifted into my massive black Alpha wolf, which only the eldest of the brothers received in our family.
Now that I was in my wolf form, I stepped towards them, and my wolf let out a growl of authority that shook the ground beneath our feet, making the two of them instantly stop in their tracks to face me. Cash, being Cash, even in his wolf form, drug his canines on Chase’s fur as he let go of his hind leg, taking a huge chunk of fur with them, before spitting it out, as Chase let out a yelp.
My eyes rolled as I stepped forward, wondering how I was ever going to get these two dip

shits to get along long enough to be on the same page. I didn’t even bother to ask them what they were fighting about, because I knew that it had to involve Jessica somehow, because that was what it had always been about.
Through our mind link, I say to them, “I don’t even want to know what this is about, but whatever it is, it’s over, because I have a major problem on my hands that I need your help dealing with.”
Getting to his feet, Cash asked, “Did you track down the rogue Alpha?” But before I could answer his question, Chase got to his feet too, asking, “What rogue Alpha?”
“You’d know about it if your head wasn’t so far up Jessica’s ass.” Cash said to him, earning a growl from Chase, but I stepped between the two of them, stopping him from pouncing on Cash, as I say, “Raven was attacked yesterday in the girl’s locker room after practice. Thankfully, I got to her before he could hurt her.”
“Wait a second. Raven knows about us?” Chase asks, and my wolf shakes his head, while I tell him, “No, at least I don’t think so. She was too scared to even talk to me about it. I had to send Mazie to her house to coax it out of her what she saw.”
