Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time novel Chapter 662

Chapter 662

Neither Maggie nor Franklin minded, and they brought Glen along too.

Once they were in the car, the coordinator smiled and asked Maggie, How come Mr. Gray isn’t with you?

He had another commitment. He’ll be here later.

By the time they reached the hotel, it was already pretty late. Maggie, Glen, and Franklin all stepped into the elevator together.

Maggie and Franklin were on the same floor. Glen wasn’t.

Glen got off first, leaving just the two of them.

They glanced at each other. Maggie met his eyes for a moment, then looked away. Franklin didn’t say anything either.

But when the elevator reached their floor and they stepped out, Franklin spoke up. Good night.

Maggie:

She said nothing, wheeled her luggage down the hall, and let herself into her room.

Johnny had just landed, and Nolan had other things going on. With a full slate of events the next morning and an early start ahead, Maggie set down her bag, took off her makeup, got cleaned up, and went to bed.

The next morning she texted Johnny after waking up, touched up her makeup, and headed out. Johnny was on the same floor, and they ended up leaving their rooms at almost the exact same moment. He spotted her and smiled. Professor said he might not make it to the symposium. Told us not to wait for him.

Maggie nodded and was about to say something when Franklin came walking over from the other end of the hall toward the elevator.

Johnny:

Franklin saw them and smiled. Morning.

Johnny: Morning.

The three of them rode the elevator down in silence.

A minute later, Glen got on too..

Getting into an invitationonly academic symposium wasn’t something your average attendee could pull off, but Glen

had somehow scored a spot.

He stepped in, noticed the three of them, hesitated for just a second, and walked in.

Maggie had put some real effort into her look that morning. Her makeup wasn’t anything over the top, but it was striking. Glen barely made it through the doors before he told her, plain as day, You look beautiful today.

Maggie knew how Glen felt about her. Maybe it was because Franklin was standing right there, or maybe Glen just didn’t know anything about the two of them, but either way the comment made her a little flustered. Still, she kept it together. Thank you.

Whatever their situation was, Maggie was still Franklin’s wife. Hearing another man compliment her right to his face, Franklin didn’t react badly at all.

After that, Glen kept the conversation going with Maggie and Johnny. Franklin stood off to the side and didn’t jump in.

The symposium hall was already filling up when they arrived.
