Amelia spanked Nina hard until she burst into tears. She wouldn’t let anyone come to comfort her.

Daniel picked Nina up with one hand and retrieved the watch with the other.

Nina sniffled and decided to watch TV for a bit first.

Amelia didn’t stop Nina from watching TV. She just made sure it wasn’t too long.

Daniel put on a cartoon for her. Nina patted the big sofa She didn’t want it.

“Watch trucks!” Nina demanded.

“Okay, okay.” Daniel searched for truck videos and played them for Nina.

That evening, Nina fussed a lot.

Before bed, she missed Benjamin again.

Amelia felt exhausted from her antics. She even recorded a video of Nina throwing a tantrum and sent it to Benjamin.

Amelia sent, “She’s been fussing, looking for you the whole time. When you get back, you’ll probably need to coax her. She’s throwing another tantrum.”

Amelia sometimes wondered how such a tiny child could throw such dramatic tantrums every day.
