Ms. Escape Marrying to Run Fighting to Rise novel Chapter 388

Her eyes grew colder and sharper. If she could kill her own father, taking out Mister was nothing.

Lincoln Group.

With everything that had happened, the board members were left staring at each other, clueless about what was going on.

No one knew why Denton had suddenly transferred his shares to Savannah.

Savannah herself hadn’t even finished the paperwork before she rushed in, eager to claim her new territory.

“Hello, everyone. My name is Silas Harrison, the new CEO of Lincoln Group. I’m looking forward to working with you all.” A tall, imposing man walked into the conference room before Savannah could even speak.

He wore gold–rimmed glasses, and his presence alone was enough to make Savannah’s nerves jump.

She stared at Silas, stunned. She never expected Mister would send Silas to take over Lincoln Group.

Everyone in the room knew who Silas was. He was the last person their CEO, Gary, ever wanted to talk about. Silas was the illegitimate son of Gary’s grandfather, Cedric Harrison, and also Gary’s father’s much younger half–brother.

In other words, he was “Uncle Silas” to Gary, even though he was eight years younger than him.

Silas was born after Cedric’s affair with a Centralian nurse during Cedric’s last years at the Moweland nursing home. For the Harrisons, Silas was a disgrace, so he grew up in Moweland, with no help from the family after Cedric died.

But in the business world, everyone knew Silas was a man who clawed his way to the top of Moweland’s financial sector through sheer determination and ruthlessness.

Back when Lincoln Group was at its peak with Curtis at the helm, people used to joke, “Harborton has Curtis, Moweland has Silas. If those two ever joined forces, everyone else might as well retire.”

“Silas?” The Lincoln Group execs exploded in whispers.

If Silas was willing to take over Lincoln Group, nobody was going to complain.

He was the kind of leader they could only dream of having, and now he was here, ready to step in….

Savannah never imagined Mister would send Silas.

She knew exactly what Silas was capable of–and she wasn’t in his league at all.

Sitting nervously on the couch, Savannah eyed Silas warily.

“Mister sent me to manage Lincoln Group. We’ll be working together from now on.” Silas glanced at Savannah with a calm smile.

Savannah couldn’t even force a smile. The look on the other board members‘ faces made it clear–they were all thrilled to have Silas as their new CEO.

Savannah’s face darkened. She stood up and left the room.
