You Dare Touch My Son
Delia’s POV**
I arrived at Windsor Academy that afternoon with my head held high, the familiar weight of my designer bag on my shoulder and the click of my Louboutins against the polished marble floors. Kelly had texted me earlier about meeting for coffee after her last class. She was one of the few friends I still had from my old circle, a teacher here who understood the importance of maintaining appearances. I needed that today. Everything else in my life felt like it was crumbling, but at least I could pretend things were normal for an hour.
The academy was as impressive as always. Towering stone buildings, manicured lawns, and the kind of quiet wealth that screamed old money and exclusivity. This was a school I knew Katia could never afford to put her brat in. It was expensive and only for the elites. That bitch had a way of inserting herself into every part of my life, but here, I knew I wouldn’t find anything that belonged to her useless life.
I spotted Kelly near the main courtyard, chatting with a few other staff members. She waved when she saw me, and I plastered on my best smile as I approached.
“Delia! You look fabulous as always,” Kelly said, pulling me into a quick hug. “How have you been?”
“Busy,” I replied smoothly. “Julian has so many things going on with WEG, and I’ve been handling the house. You know how it
is.”

We were making small talk when I saw him. Aiden, Katia’s little brat, was walking across the courtyard with his backpack slung over one shoulder, looking far too comfortable in this elite environment. My stomach twisted. What the hell was he doing here?
I turned to Kelly, keeping my voice casual.
“Is that Aiden? Katia’s son?”
Kelly glanced over and nodded.
“Yes, he’s a student here. Bright kid. Very polite in class.”
My eyebrows shot up. A student? Here? Windsor Academy wasn’t some average private school. The tuition alone could buy a small country house.
“Are you sure?” I pressed. “He must be on scholarship or something, right? Katia couldn’t possibly afford full fees.”
Kelly gave me a strange look, like she was weighing her words.
“No scholarship,” she said carefully. “The school fees for the entire year were paid in full. Upfront.”
I felt like someone had slapped me. Paid in full? For the whole year? I knew Katia had money now, but this was ridiculous. Windsor Academy wasn’t cheap. This was the kind of place where the elite sent their heirs to network before they could even walk.
“It must be Gail Windsor,” I said quickly, latching onto the only explanation that made sense. “She’s Aiden’s godmother. Probably covering it as a favor. That woman loves throwing money around.”
Kelly didn’t respond. She just gave me that same odd look and changed the subject to the weather. I barely heard her. My mind was spinning. Katia paying full fees? No way. She was probably still living off whatever scraps Julian gave her. This had to be Gail’s doing.
I excused myself from Kelly and started walking toward Aiden. The boy was standing near the pickup area, scrolling on his phone like he owned the place. The arrogance of that little shit. I approached with a sweet smile plastered on my face
“Hey little brat,” I said loudly enough for a few nearby parents and students to hear. “Where the fuck is your mom? She’s not here to fetch you, or are you left here stranded like the unwanted mistake you are?”
Aiden looked up slowly. His expression didn’t change much, just this cold, unimpressed stare like I was something mildly

disgusting he’d found on his shoe. No fear. No surprise. Just boredoft mixed with disdain.
“Lady, you might be my mother’s sister,” he said flatly, voice calm and cutting for a child his age, “but I don’t like your fake smiles and your fake concerns. Leave me alone.”
The words hit harder than I expected. Fake? Me? The audacity of this kid. I felt heat rise in my cheeks as a small crowd of parents and students started paying attention. Phones were coming out. Whispers spread.
I stepped closer, lowering my voice but keeping the edge sharp.
“You think you’re so special because you go to this fancy school? Your mother is nothing but a gold-digging whore who spread her legs in Vegas and got knocked up by some random stranger.”
Aiden’s eyes narrowed, but he didn’t cry. He didn’t flinch. He just looked at me like I was pathetic.
Before I could stop myself, my hand flew out and connected with his cheek. The slap echoed across the courtyard. Aiden stumbled back and fell, landing hard on the pavement. Gasps rippled through the growing crowd. Parents pulled their children closer. Teachers started moving toward us.
Aiden touched his cheek, eyes watering but jaw set. He looked up at me with pure ice in his gaze.
“My dad will make sure you regret everything,” he said quietly, his voice steady despite the tears.
“Dad?” I laughed loudly, the sound sharp and ugly, carrying across the courtyard for everyone to hear. “Poor little bastard. You didn’t know? Your mother doesn’t even know who your father is,” I repeated, making sure it sinks in his head. “She got knocked up in Vegas by some random man and got pregnant. That’s why she was kicked out of the Kensington family. You’re just a bastard with no real father.”
