Katherine pressed her foot on Rachel’s leg. “You’re going to pay for what you did, Rachel. You ruined my life, so come down and join me.”

“No, please! I can’t, I really can’t! Let me go, I’m begging you! I won’t do it again!”

Rachel fought her way out. She thrashed so hard her forehead slammed into the table edge, blood streaming down, but she didn’t care. She rawled as fast as she could toward the door.

She finally got out, dragging herself across the floor and screaming, “Help! Help! There’s a ghost! There’s a ghost, help me! Katherine-Katherine’s back for revenge!”

She grabbed a nurse’s leg and shrieked.

The nurse jumped, dropped everything, and tried to help Rachel up, but Rachel was so panicked she couldn’t even stand.

Just then, her family came over. Ursula rushed to help Rachel. “Rachel, Rachel, what happened?”

“Mom, there’s a ghost, a ghost in the room, it was Katherine, she’s back for revenge, Mom! Help me!” Rachel hid in Ursula’s arms.

Her panic drew a crowd.

Rachel wouldn’t stop yelling about a ghost.

“Enough!” Quincy’s brow furrowed, looking like he wanted to cover her mouth himself.

Rachel didn’t even notice what was happening. She turned her head and saw a pair of cold, sharp eyes.

Rachel tried to speak, but her voice caught. Pure panic filled her face.

“Rachel, what did you do to get this scared?”
