Fred said, “Mr. Grant, should I bring in a security expert?”

“No.”

Lucas insisted on dealing with the person behind it himself.

He focused on the computer and got to work right away.

Fred immediately fell silent, not daring to bother him.

The only sound in the car was the steady tapping on the keys.

Lucas kept staring at the screen. Then he actually let out a cold, angry chuckle.

He snapped the laptop shut.

Just then, his phone rang.

It was Rachel.

Lucas frowned a little before picking up.

Rachel was sniffling. She had been insulted and called a whore. She sounded deeply wronged and refused to let it go. “Lucas, did you find out who pulled the prank?”

Lucas’s eyes turned colder as he looked toward Pearce Villa.

When he thought about Katherine, he rubbed the bridge of his nose. Anger flashed in his

eyes.

She aborted his children, left him for five years, and now came back to cause trouble.

That was unbelievable.

“I see.”

“Lucas, have you really not found them yet?” Quincy asked again.

Given Lucas’s abilities, he should have already located the prankster.

“Not yet. That’s it for now.”

Lucas ended the call before they could say more

“Lucas, you-” On the Harts’ side, Quincy slammed the phone down.

Rachel sniffed. “Dad, if Lucas says he hasn’t found them, then he really hasn’t.”

Quincy looked at her and smiled helplessly. “You’re still too naive. If Lucas wants to find someone, it only takes minutes. If he’s not saying anything, it means he doesn’t want to. I think he’s protecting whoever it is.”

Rachel’s face grew paler the more she listened.
