Megan rushed toward the classrooms. Because a student had gone missing, the school was worried about further incidents and had already asked all parents to come pick up their children.

Meanwhile, Julian and Ethan were in the security room. Several guards, teachers, and the principal stood around them in a circle.

The two little ones had dead-serious expressions on their small faces. Their fingers flew across the keyboard with practiced speed, working in tandem-one scanning the classroom building cameras, the other checking the school entrance cameras.

Soon, Julian’s steady, calm eyes tightened. “The footage has been tampered with.”

But the entire school had been searched. She wasn’t there. Clearly, Ivy was no longer on

campus.
