My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 527

Hannah, however, didn't say a word. She simply picked up the coffee a servant had prepared, and took a leisurely sip. She seemed as relaxed as if she were admiring a work of art, in no hurry to hear what they had to say.

Seeing Hannah's indifference, even Sandra started to feel anxious.

"Lio… Lionel, don't you have something to say to Hannah? She's here now. What are you just standing there for? Say it! I'm in so much pain, I just want to go back home. Hurry up and talk to her."

When Lionel remained silent, Sandra couldn't help but shout at him.

Her outburst made Hannah raise an eyebrow, a thoughtful look on her face.

It seemed that after everything that had happened, Sandra couldn't be bothered to pretend anymore. In front of Lionel, she had always played the part of the perfect, gentle lady, a model wife. But now, her true colors were showing.

"Hannah, I was wrong to send a servant to talk to you before. I wasn't thinking clearly. That's why I've brought Sandra to see you myself. I told you I would find her and bring her back to apologize to you. I may not have caught her then, but I've caught her now."

Sandra flinched at his choice of words. It was as if he was talking about capturing a criminal to present to his master.

Though his words stung, Sandra decided not to argue about it. It was pointless.

More importantly, she could sense that Hannah had lost interest in her. All Hannah wanted was a divorce. So, it was probably best for her to say as little as possible.
