Sandra took a deep breath, and a sudden smile curled her lips.
In that single moment, something clicked. Quennel was the one who had kidnapped her. Quennel was the one who had hurt her.
She had done many bad things in the past, but she had also paid the price.
She had given back the money, returned the jewelry, and her parents were now nearly homeless. Her punishment had been delivered.
