My Fake Boyfriend Is the School Bad Boy novel Chapter 214

Chapter 214 The Police Take Him Away

Trent drove the car closer, pulling up directly behind the truck Ryder was washing. He revved the engine. The sound roared, a blatant

show of power designed to humiliate the boy holding the hose.

‘I wondered where you went, Trent continued, his voice dripping with venom. “I didn’t think you’d be scraping grease off the floor for

minimum wage. You look pathetic, Ryder. You look exactly like the trash you tried to date.”

Ryder finally turned. He clicked the nozzle of the hose shut. The water flow stopped, leaving the garage in a sudden, ringing silence. He

walked toward the silver car, his movements deliberate.

“Leave, Trent,” Ryder said, his voice a low, dangerous rumble. “You possess no business here.”

“I possess plenty of business, Trent countered. He reached into his center console and pulled out a stack of crisp, hundred-dollar bills. He rolled down the window further and tossed the money. The cash fluttered through the air, landing in the dirty wash water and oily sludge

on the garage floor.

“Clean that up for me, prince, Trent laughed. “Consider it a tip for your new career.”

Ryder stood a foot from the car. The height difference was negligible, but he radiated an intensity that made Trent’s smirk falter.

“I told you to leave,” Ryder said.

Trent laughed, but the sound lacked conviction. He reached for the gear shift. “You’re nothing now. You’re just another poor kid in a broken neighborhood. Nobody cares about you anymore.”

Ryder didn’t say a word. He looked at the floor, then back at Trent. He stepped toward the passenger side of the car, and for a second, I thought he was going to yank Trent out of the vehicle.

Instead, Ryder reached out, grabbed the handle of the high-pressure hose, and with one swift motion, he turned the spray directly onto the windshield of the sports car, flooding the interior through the open window.

Trent shouted, ducking away from the blast as the water soaked the expensive leather and his polo shirt. The engine sputtered as water

hit the dash.

“Get out!’ Trent screamed, his composure shattering.

Ryder clicked the nozzle off again, the silence returning heavier than before. He leaned down, his face inches from the soaked driver’s

window.

‘I don’t need my father’s money to make you miserable, Lawson, Ryder whispered, the menace in his voice filling the bay. “Leave. Now.”

Trent didn’t wait. He threw the car into reverse, tires spinning on the slick, oily floor as he bolted toward the street, leaving a trail of water and anger in his wake.

Chapter 214 The Police Take Him Away

Ryder stood alone in the center of the garage, the high-pressure hose still in his hand. He looked toward the bay doors.

He saw me.

His eyes locked onto mine. The cold fury he directed at Trent shifted instantly. He saw the shock on my face. He took a step toward me,

his boots leaving wet prints on the concrete.

Before he could reach me, a black car pulled into the driveway.

It wasn’t a town car this time. It was a police cruiser. The lights atop the roof didn’t flash, but the car blocked the exit of the garage

entirely. Two officers stepped out, their faces stern and professional. They looked at the garage floor-at the water, the spilled cash, and

then directly at Ryder.

“Ryder Steinmann?” one officer asked, his hand resting near his holster. “We received a call regarding harassment and destruction of

property. You need to come with us.”

Ryder dropped the hose. He looked at me, a silent message passing between us. They didn’t just want him for the water; they wanted him

for the reputation.
