They just kept rubbing salt in the wound.

Cade looked right at me on purpose.

Harper was the only one grinning ear to ear.

He coaxed her gently while snatching the bracelet off her wrist and putting it back on his own.

Even waved it in front of me a couple times on purpose.

I just smiled politely and went back to eating.
