'Good' he said knowing I would have agreed anyway and threw Morgan into a tree and ran off.
"Morgan!" I screamed and ran to where she fell. She had shifted back into human form. She was so weak it made me want to cry. Her hair was all tangled and stained with her blood along wither beautiful dress which was now torn and tripped. I shifted back as quickly as I could. I pulled off my jacket placing it around her shaking body and scooped her into my arms.
"It is okay baby," I soothed her, "You'll be home soon," and I began to run.
I pictured myself in wolf form running with the wind in my hair and asked for speed. My wolf granted me my wolf speed and weaved in and out of the trees and jumped over the river that crossed over into our land. I ran passed Zach who was running his patrol and ignored his questioning look.
"Get someone's attention," I ordered him and he let out a howl.
He ran beside me when out of the corner of my eye I spotted Ashes wolf coming toward me. The look in her eyes made me wish she hadn't seen Morgan looking like this. I know she worried about her and this didn't help worries. Zach and Ashling followed me all the way into the backyard where we were greeted by my mother, father, Ruben, Mack, Tim, and pack doctor. Ash must have messaged them to get the doctor.
My mom ran to us right when we entered the backyard. Her eyes were bloodshot and her hand was covering her month.
"Wh-What happened?" She asked with tears forming in her eyes but Dr. Wright interrupted before I could explain what happened.
"I should take a look at her John. She looks very weak." He said and he was right.
"Bring her to your room John," my mother nodded for me to go into the house.
I walked through the house feeling people's stairs bore into my back but at this point I didn't care I just needed to know that Morgan would be okay. I balanced Morgan in my arms and opened the door. I walked over to my king size bed and place Morgan lightly on my white sheets. My mate was hurt and could have it but I didn't. I could have prevented this from happening to her.
"I'm sorry" I whispered to her and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
She opened her eyes and looked at me with love in her eyes. I smiled at her. I just kept telling myself that she was going to be okay. Dr. Wright came in with my mom and a few other women. They all crowded around Morgan and kept on pushing me away from Morgan. Eventually my mother turned to me and told that I should go get some rest.
"I am not leaving her," I told her
"Jonathan," my mother said looking me straight in the eyes, "she will be fine. She would want you to get your rest, now go." She said pushing me out of my room, my own room.
I started to hear Morgan whimpering when my mom closed the door. What are they doing to her? Why can't I be with her? I need to be with her. I began to bang on my door as hard as I could.
"John!" Ash yelled running to me
"John stop, they are helping her," she said trying to grab my fist.
I let out a sigh and broke out of our embraces. I slid down the wall and let my head fall back.
"Bro go get some sleep. They would let you in anytime soon,"
"I and staying with her," I told her
"Well you're as stubborn as she is," she said shaking her head.
I closed my eyes and I soon fell into a peaceful sleep.
Ashling's P.O.V
I hated seeing John like this. Mom won't let him inside to see Morgan and my father has to deal with pack stuff because the Rouges are still causing havoc so I am the only one who may keep him sane. I know if it were Anthony in Morgan's position I would be acting the same way John is now.
'Oh I miss him,' I said to myself playing with the locket he gave me before he left.
I hated us being apart but he offered to help dad out. I cried for days and Morgan stayed with me the whole time comforting me. I just wish he were here so I could hold him and kiss him. Tell him how much I love him.
