I just shook my head and cuddled into his chest.

"John put her on the bed. Ashling go wake Ruben." Ash nodded and ran out of the room. John lifted me off the floor and gently placed me on my bed.

"Morgan sweetheart can you to tell us what happened?" Jackie said sitting on the bed next to me rubbing my back trying to calm me down.

"He was here." I whispered more to myself than to them.

"Morgan we can't understand you can talk a little louder?"

I took a deep breath before answering. "Charlie, he was here."

Growls and gasps filled the room.

"What did he want?" Tommy asked in his Alpha voice

I took a few calming breaths before answering him.

"He wants some of our land." I said

"He wants our land. Hell no. he isn't getting any of it." John said jumping off the bed.

"John calm down. Morgan did he say anything else?" he said turning back to me.

"He said you better hand over some land or else." I said letting fresh tears roll down my face.

"Or else what?" John asked

"Or else I will be seeing my mother very soon." When I said those words I couldn't help but break down.

Jackie put her arm around me and let me cry into her shoulder.

"Mack go ring Tim from the pack up north and tell him to bring some of his men here." Tommy said to his Beta who he pulled his phone out and started dialing numbers.

"Jackie go wake everyone in the house and call the other, tell them it is an emergency and to get here as soon as they can." He said looking at his mate

Jackie looked at me, seeing if I was well enough for her to go. I gave her a nodded signaling that she could go.

"Oh, Morgan." My dad said sitting next to me and enveloping me in his arms.

"He was here."

"I know" he said wiping away my tears.

"How could you let this happen, Tommy? You are the Alpha. You banned him from here. What happened to the guards? How did he get in here?" my father asked him letting his anger show in his voice.

"Ruben calm down." He replied putting his hand on my father's shoulder. "I don't know how this happen but I will find out."

"They're on their way." Mark said hanging up his phone.

"Good" Tom answered

Jackie came back in the room, "Everyone is on their way and the others are in the conference room."

"Thank you." He was putting his arm around her waist and kissed her on her forehead. She walked over and sat on the other side of me.

A half an hour later Jackie and my dad were called down to the meet.

"It will be okay baby don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you." My dad said giving me a kiss on the forehead before following Jackie out of the room.

When he looked me in the eye I could see worry, sadness, loss, and pain. I hated seeing him like this. He has been so happy lately and now he is upset because of me, because of Charlie. Why after all these years........Why?

Now it was just Ash and I left.

"They will find him don't worry." Ash said sitting closer to me

"I know"

"Then what is bothering you?"

"What is bothering me? I have to think about that well let's see my mother's murder came into my room and threatened to kill me."

She laughed.

Why the hell is she laughing?

"You think this is funny? That Charlie is going to try and kill me." I asked in disbelief.

"Of course not" She said becoming very serious.

"Then why are you laughing?"

"Because you look really funny when you are mad, your eyebrows scrunch together." She said feeling the patch of skin between my eyebrows trying not to giggle.
