The bald brute froze for a moment, then split into a wide grin.
Three women wanted to take him on?
Fine. He’d kill the fat one first and see if the rest of them still dared to act tough.
He raised his cleaver–only to see all three women lift their hands at the same time. In their grips were pistols, the black muzzles aimed squarely at him.
Holy shit!
The bald man’s hand went slack. With a clang, the cleaver dropped to the floor. He immediately threw his hands up.
“Don’t–don’t do anything rash! Please don’t! I was just joking around, hahaha… hahaha!”
He laughed dryly, forcing the sound out.
“Kristen, tie him up,” the fat woman ordered.
“Got it.”
One of the women stepped forward, yanked her bra out from under her clothes, and used it as a rope to bind the brute’s wrists.
At first, the bald man didn’t take it seriously. A bra, of all things–one hard tug and it would snap, right? But once she finished tying him up, he tried to struggle free. To his shock, he couldn’t move at all.
His face immediately turned ugly.
Now, he was nothing more than meat on the chopping block.
The tattooed woman holstered her gun, picked up the cleaver from the floor, and casually drew the blade across the bald man’s
neck.
That was enough to scare the piss out of him.
“W–We can talk! Please don’t-”
“Shut up.” The tattooed woman pressed the blade against his throat. “We’re asking questions. Just answer.”
“Y–Yes, yes.” Cold sweat poured down his neck as he nodded frantically, feeling the icy edge against his skin.
These women were vicious. Who the hell were they?
“What’s the situation in this residential complex right now?” the tattooed woman asked.
The bald man answered honestly, spilling everything he knew.
He talked about the brutality of Building 4, how some unknown group had sealed everyone inside. He talked about Ray’s wealth -how he constantly posted bounties, and how he was a ruthless man, with at least thirty deaths on his hands.
When he finished, the nine women exchanged glances, surprise evident on their faces.
The disaster hadn’t even lasted twenty days yet–and the outside world had already become like this?
So who were these nine women?
They were criminals.
The fat woman was named Suzanne Waters, a human trafficker sentenced to twenty years.
The tattooed woman was Ida Garten, a drug dealer with blood on her hands. She had originally been sentenced to death, but

because she was pregnant, the execution had been suspended for two years.
The beautiful woman with hair covering half her face was Molly Cora, convicted of killing someone through excessive self- defense, sentenced to nine years.
These three were the leaders among the nine.
After the disaster began, a riot broke out in the prison. They seized guns and fought the guards for several days. Eventually, taking advantage of heavy fog, they escaped in a prison transport vehicle.
But the fog also caused them to lose their way–sending them crashing straight into this residential complex.
“So the outside world is just as chaotic.”
“Figures. A prison riot lasted nearly ten days without any external reinforcements. That means social order has completely collapsed.”
“So… we’re free now.”
