Chapter 147
Ray parked the car and closed the garage door. Then, he and Cassandra stepped into the villa’s first floor.
Leo immediately bounded over, circling Ray and wagging his tail furiously.
Ray patted the dog’s head, smiling. “Leo, you’re not impressive enough. Yesterday, I ran into a dog that had evolved powers- now that’s terrifying!”
Of course, Leo didn’t understand a word. He just wagged his tail some more. But he did notice Cassandra, sniffed her, caught Ray’s scent, and then circled her once, rubbing his head against her leg.
“You perverted dog, get lost. She’s mine,” Ray teased with a laugh.
Inside, the heating was strong. Ray told Cassandra to strip and toss her clothes.
She’d been wearing them for over twenty days. Luckily, it was cold outside, and she still carried a natural scent; otherwise, it would have stunk.
Cassandra blushed violently, covering her upper body while still neglecting the lower half–utterly flustered.
Ray laughed heartily, scooped her into his arms, and carried her upstairs. Leo, obedient as ever, stayed on the first floor since Ray didn’t allow him upstairs.
In the bathroom, Ray filled the bathtub with water.
Cassandra’s eyes widened in disbelief. “This water… it’s not poisoned?”
Ray smiled. “It’s pure water. Of course not.”
“You really are—” She couldn’t even find the words. Just the fact that Ray was extravagant enough to fill a bathtub with clean water earned him points in her eyes. If wealth were measured in resources, Ray could definitely compete for the title of the
world’s richest
Once the tub was ready, she slid in, letting the warm water envelop her body. She couldn’t help but let out a contented moan.
Who else in this world could take a hot bath now? And a full soak at that!
Ray chuckled, stripped off his own clothes, and stepped into the tub.
An hour later, wearing a bathrobe, Ray went down to the basement.
“Ray!”
Hearing the door open, Honey and the other three girls practically leapt with excitement, rushing toward him. If he hadn’t returned, they would have been trapped in there to die!
“We missed you so much!” they all exclaimed,
Ray grinned. “How much?”
“Very, very much!”
Naturally, the girls asked where he had been all day.
Ray simply said he’d gone out to collect fuel. After all, the villa’s power relied on generators, and without fuel, those generators were useless.

He didn’t reveal his own secrets, nor did he mention Cassandra’s presence. The girls weren’t yet fully moving in, so they didn’t
need to know too much.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The basement door suddenly rattled.
Ray had already been alerted via his system. He checked the monitor and saw a woman standing at the entrance. She hadn’t brought an umbrella, clearly showing her sincerity.
“What do you want?” he asked.
The woman lifted her head toward the camera.
Ray’s eyes lit up. ‘Wow, she’s beautiful! At least a solid 90 points!‘
Another top–tier baddie in the complex? How lucky!
“My name is Molly Cora,” the woman said. “I heard you have a car… I want to know–how can I get it from you? Even just borrowing it works. You can come along if you want. I need to go somewhere.”
Ray paused. He wasn’t about to give away the G–Class. Borrowing it, however… if the terms were right, he might consider it.
After a moment’s thought, he used the remote to unlock the door.
The iron gate swung open.
Molly took a deep breath and stepped inside.
It was so warm.
As rumored, the villa did have heating!
Then she saw Ray–and Honey with the other three girls. Especially Honey and Lola–her eyes widened. These two were just as stunning in looks and figure as herself.
Her confidence wavered for a moment, but she quickly regained it.
The four girls, in turn, glanced at her and were equally impressed.
Where had such a top–tier beauty come from? A subtle sense of competition arose.
Ray smiled. “Which building do you live in?”
Molly hesitated, then answered, “I’m not a resident here. I only arrived a couple of days ago.”
Ray frowned. “So you’re part of the group of eight women who came here the other day?”
She shook her head, then nodded slightly. “We all escaped from prison, but we weren’t a ‘team.‘ Just a temporary alliance to survive.”
Ray couldn’t believe it–a woman of such breathtaking beauty had been a prisoner?
“How did you end up in prison?” he asked, curious.
Molly hesitated, then said, “I have a younger sister. When she was in high school, someone tried to harm her. I killed him to protect her.”
