Chapter 192
Ray had no idea that the residents in his neighborhood were already planning to join forces against him.
But even if he did know, he wouldn’t have cared.
Did they think the villa’s renovation had been for nothing?
Without exaggeration, short of a direct missile strike, ordinary weapons simply couldn’t breach the villa’s defenses.
Before the disaster, there might have been other ways. For example, fire. Turn the villa into an oven, and everything inside would be roasted or even burned to ash.
But in temperatures this low, how many people could actually stay outside long enough to pull that off?
And arson required fuel–firewood, or large amounts of gasoline. Setting aside whether they even had such supplies, they would still need time to set it all up.
And in this extreme weather, the fire would have to be enormous. Otherwise, the heat it produced wouldn’t even outpace the cold. What would be the point?
Even taking ten thousand steps back–if the villa really did become an oven–Ray had plenty of ice stored in his otherworldly storage space. Cooling it down would be trivial.
As for the drainage concerns, he could either discharge it through the basement or restore it in his otherworldly storage space. Easy.
When Ray had spent a fortune upgrading the villa, how could he not have considered all of this?
Of course, if someone were powerful enough to call in a missile strike, the villa definitely wouldn’t survive.
But if Ray knew roughly when the missile was coming, he could simply stand on the roof, open a spatial portal, and collect the missile.
His spatial portal was now twenty by twenty meters. What kind of missile had a diameter larger than that?
Ray had already absorbed three abilities. After days of going out nonstop, he planned to stay home for the next couple of days and enjoy the tenderness and charm of the women around him.
This was wealth he had claimed with his own hands.
He walked over and entered Honey’s room on the first floor.
Her proportions were flawless. In that regard alone, only Jess could rival her among the women.
Oh and he hadn’t yet had a chance to truly appreciate Katie’s figure.
Suddenly, he found himself missing Lucy. She was beautiful and seductive, with a fiery body. Though he hadn’t personally measured it, he could say with certainty that her figure was also top tier.
And then there was Keisha. While her looks weren’t quite at the pinnacle, her body was still excellent
Ray couldn’t help feeling a little sentimental. With so many beauties in the villa lately, he’d almost forgotten about Laxy and Keisha.
Sure enough new ones arrived, and the old ones slipped from mind.
“No. I like the new, but I don’t tire of the old. I want them all.”
Just then, his phone chimed.
He checked it and saw that someone had arrived at the basement door and was knocking

Too lazy to go down himself, he connected his phone to the speaker system and asked, “What is it?”
It was a man in his fifties, staring at the security camera. “The neighborhood has decided to hold a general meeting. We want to choose a leader, someone to guide us on what to do next. Ray, you’re one of the candidates–and the one we’re most hopeful about. We’d like you to participate.”
Ray thought for a moment, then a cold smile tugged at his lips. “Alright. What time?”
“Probably after lunch,” the man replied.
Most electronic devices were out of power now, and how many people still had old–fashioned wristwatches? Time could only be estimated.
“Got it,” Ray said, tossing the phone aside.
“You’re going?” Honey stiffened.
“What, you think I shouldn’t?” Ray already had his decision, but he asked deliberately.
Honey nodded. “Don’t let talk about being ‘the leader‘ go to your head. This is probably a trap–to lure you out and kill you.”
Ray burst out laughing and pulled her into his arms. “Relax. The only place I’ll be losing my head is right here with you.”
Honey understood instantly.
“Naughty boy!” She lightly punched his chest, her face flushing bright red. She looked radiant and alluring.
Ray laughed. “Don’t worry. With all you little temptresses at home, how could I bear to die? If they want to plot murder and theft, I’ll make them pay in blood. Honestly, I was starting to get bored with them anyway.”
A flash of killing intent crossed his eyes.
His principle was simple: if you don’t provoke me, you live your life, and I’ll live mine. But if you come after me–sorry, you can
all die.
Honey rested against his chest and nodded. “Be careful. I know you’re powerful, but you’re still flesh and blood. It’s easy to dodge attacks in the open, but hard to guard against hidden attacks. Arrogance plants the seeds of failure–and in this world, failure often means death.”
“Alright, I know,” Ray said. Then he grew curious. “By the way, what did you do before? For work.”
He secretly thought, ‘Don’t tell me you were a teacher. You sound so… textbook.‘
“I was a teacher,” Honey replied.
Damn–careless of him not to ask earlier. Otherwise, he could’ve indulged in the forbidden student–teacher fantasy long ago.
It was nearly eleven o’clock. After watching some TV, Ray had everyone sit down for lunch.
The meal was lavish.
