“Kill him!”
“Once he’s dead, all of it is ours!”
“Go!”
The crowd roared together. Ray had already walked right into their trap–why waste time playing games with him now?
No more delays.
Julian nodded in agreement. Ray was unarmed and surrounded. So… did he have any chance to turn this around?
None. Not even the slightest.
“Ray,” Julian said, shaking his head with a sigh. “Why did you have to be so stubborn? You should have just cooperated from the start. That would have been better for you, and better for everyone. You wouldn’t be throwing your life away like this.”
“That’s why,” he added solemnly, “a man needs vision. He has to think bigger.”
His tone dropped. “Go. Do it.”
The moment was finally here–cards on the table, blades drawn.
One after another, the men pulled out their hidden weapons, eyes fixed on Ray with raw, savage killing intent.
Once Ray was dead, everything he had would belong to them.
That villa. Those supplies. And Honey–that seductive vixen who oozed temptation down to her bones.
After taking the villa, every one of them would get their turn with her.
Ray smiled faintly. Fine. It was time to clean up this neighborhood anyway.
At that moment, the crowd surged forward from all directions.
Even if Ray had three heads and six arms, what good would it do? One strike from each of them–he’d be beaten to death on the
spot.
With a thought, Ray activated his ability.
Silently, three cars appeared out of nowhere around him, forming a tight enclosure.
Only one side was left open.
But that open side was the deadliest –because Ray had placed a spatial portal there.
“Ow!”
“Holy shit!”
People charging forward crashed straight into the cars Who could’ve imagined a vehicle materialising put of that?

“Why did cars suddenly appear?”
“This is insane!”
Yes, this was a parking garage–cars were everywhere. But materializing like this out of nowhere? If that wasn’t supernatural, what was?
The unknown bred overwhelming fear. The crowd trembled uncontrollably.
But the most terrifying part was still to come.
On the one side without cars blocking the way, people kept charging forward like a tidal wave–only to vanish abruptly, one after another.
There was no time to stop. Over a hundred people disappeared before the rush finally ground to a halt.
“Ray–Ray!” Julian pointed a trembling finger at him. “You–you did this, didn’t you?”
“Of course,” Ray replied with a smile. “Now that you all know my secret, it’s time for you to go.”
“Oh, right.” He seemed to remember something and added casually, “Thanks for keeping me entertained these past few days. After the disaster, there wasn’t much to do. You all gave me plenty of amusement–I really should thank you for that.”
“But now the hail’s stopped, and the fog has cleared. I can finally go out again, so I won’t be needing your entertainment anymore. Farewell.”
