Chapter 93
“However, I found a dagger in your boot!” Ray’s voice cut through the room.
lectra’s instincts screamed danger. She tried to move, but the enormous hands around her neck tightened uddenly.
She gasped and struggled, kicking out, but her legs couldn’t reach him. Her vision blurred, and oxygen deprivation made her head spin.
Just as she feared she was about to die, Ray abruptly released his grip.
“What’s your real identity?” His voice carried an eerie calm, like it came from the horizon.
When someone intended to kill him, Ray naturally showed no mercy.
Electra’s will wavered at the brink of death. She stammered, “My real name is Electra Willow. I… I’m from Jayzepan. My father is a foreigner. I’m a professional killer. I came to Gohaven to kill someone named Bruce Conor–not you!”
She was terrified of Ray now.
‘Ah, Jayzepan… no wonder she sounded so proud mentioning her father. He’s Jayzepanese, isn’t he?‘ Ray mused wryly, letting his mind wander to the absurdity of the situation.
Bruce Conor? That name sounded familiar.
Thinking for a moment, Ray recalled that Bruce was a famous entrepreneur in Senna City, reportedly a live–in son–in–law, but somehow played a “main character” role in real life–he’d taken his wife’s small company and turned it into a billion–dollar empire.
Gemini Real Estate–a top–ten private enterprise in Senna City.
But who hires a professional killer to take out a celebrated entrepreneur? Ray shrugged and thought internally, ‘ Not my problem.‘
“Jayzepanese women… not bad at all,” he murmured, his gaze hardening with lethal intent. “Next time I’m in Jayzepan, I might pick up a few to play with.”
He had only wanted to confirm whether Electra had come specifically to kill him and whether she had accomplices. Now that he knew, there was no reason to let her go.
There was no way he would keep a killer close by. Whether she was Jayzepanese, an ungrateful foreigner, or even a local–Ray would never take that risk.
Seeing his intent, Electra burst into tears. “Please… don’t kill me! I’m still a virgin! Really… that was my first time!”
‘Being a virgin won’t save you,‘ Ray thought.
His heart was cold as iron. To an enemy who wanted to kill him, there was no mercy, not even for a beautiful
woman.
Ray grabbed her and shoved her backward. She stumbled two steps before… whoosh!-she vanished.

“Who in their right mind would hire a Jayzepanese killer to come here and kill someone?” Ray muttered. Some mysteries would remain unsolved.
He disposed of the belongings Electra left behind. No sympathy warranted for killers.
