My Runaway Groom Came Back I Became His Aunt! novel Chapter 59

Chapter 6

The day Aria got out, I prepared a bunch of food.

The weather was perfect. Not a breath of wind.

She walked out of those prison gates and saw me standing there. Smiling.

“Emilia. Let’s go home.”

Aria’s someone with real ability.

She only rested two days after getting out. Then she got focused. Decided to get her revenge.

A

For the next six months, she traveled. Networked. Gathered evidence. And she actually took back her power. By the end, most of the family’s funds had been drained, only fifty thousand dollars left. But she took that fifty thousand and started

a business. And she gave me a job.

When her ex-husband came crawling back, she just smiled coolly and said, “We’re done. We’re divorced. From now on, we

our separate ways.”

He lost it. Tried to threaten her. Even put a gun to her head.

Aria just pushed him away. The smile vanished from her face, replaced by something ice-cold.

She kicked the gun out of his hand. Called the cops. The guy had no choice but to slink off.

That night, Aria didn’t sleep at all.

The next day, I had a new name.

Liliana D’Angelo.

She said it was so people would know we’re sisters. Otherwise, they might get the wrong idea.

We walked out the door with my new ID, and literally ran into Fabio.

Six months. He’d lost weight. Looked exhausted, Holding a stack of missing person flyers.

Before I could answer, he was already there. Grabbing my hand. Eyes red.

Emilia. I found you. I finally found you. Where have you been? Do you have any idea how worried I’ve been?”

pulled my hand back. Face blank. “I’m not dead. Why are you looking for me?”

He looked at my hair, just below my ears now, and his voice cracked. “Emilia. Don’t be like that. Come home with me. I

know I was wrong. I shouldn’t have doubted you.”
