Besides, who wants to air their dirty laundry for the world to see?
No one can truly empathize; they just turn your pain into gossip.
Your misfortune merely satisfies their curiosity
Cecilia fell silent, then wrapped her arms around Stephanie, her eyes full of sympathy. “Oh, my sweet Stephanie, my heart breaks for you..
After the car crash that killed Mr. Jackson and her two older brothers, Stephanie was left to hold the massive Jackson family legacy together all by herself.
If they were still alive, they would never stand to see the little princess they had doted on be bullied like this.
“So, what are your plans now?” Cecilia asked. “By the way, does your mother… know about this?”

Stephanie’s eyes reddened. She knew it was a dream, but the suffocating feeling was all too real.
As she drowned in her sorrow, another man’s face suddenly appeared before her.
“Trying to use me to get back at Quennel?”
“Maybe I should join in on the fun, what do you say?”
Jonathan’s kiss fell upon her, his eyes blazing with possessiveness.
Stephanie’s eyes flew open, and she sat up, drenched in a cold sweat.
“Why would she dream about him?
She sat there, her heart pounding, trying to calm herself.
Looking around at the unfamiliar room, she remembered she was at Cecilia’s place.
Cecilia had already left for the daily grind. Just as Stephanie was about to get up, her phone rang.
“Stephanie, where did you go? Why didn’t you come home last night?”
