Noelle instinctively slapped Cedric's hand away and took a step back. "Hey now, what you're trying to do is called harassment, you know?"
Cedric reluctantly withdrew his hand. "Let's go."
His fingers slowly curled into a fist as if trying to latch onto the feeling of her skin. Later, in the middle of the night, Noelle went to the hotel with Cedric.
Jeremy had already gotten an answer, with the help of Steven, to be precise. As of now, the one thing Laura feared the most was revenge from the Hitchcock family.
Noelle and Cedric entered the hotel suite and came across Steven. They could tell that he was not a good person with just a single glance. Again, the apple did not fall far from the tree.
Alfred turned to Cedric and said, "We've got the location. I've already sent someone to look for it."
Cedric nodded in response.
Noelle let out a breath of relief. She then saw Steven approaching Cedric with a smile and said, "Mr. Greene, I believe I've been of help, right?"
Cedric nodded and replied, "I'll remember this favor. I hope I have the chance to work with you again in the future, Steven."
He made sure to make no mention of Bradley, implying that he only acknowledged Steven and no one else.
Steven was pleased. "I feel much more assured hearing it from you, Mr. Greene. I'll be going now."
He had fulfilled his part, after all. Cedric would owe him a big favor once they manage to find a kidney donor.
Steven was all smiles. He had Laura to thank for gaining access to this golden opportunity. The door to the hotel suite was closed once more.
Noelle then asked, "Where's Laura?"
Alfred replied with a complicated tone, as if he was holding something back, "Laura's still inside, with her hands and feet tied up. It's obvious that she's terrified of the Hitchcocks. She spilled everything herself without us having to pressure her about it."
