No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 1131

When Noelle looked up, she saw Carl approaching them.

Carl also noticed Noelle and Cedric holding hands. A trace of displeasure flashed through his eyes, but he still walked over with a cold expression.

Noelle spoke up, "Now that everyone is here at the hospital, what's your solution?"

"You've probably guessed it, too. Mrs. Greene is poisoned and needs an antidote, but only my research team has the formula. Besides, the antidote belongs to the island."

Noelle liked to go straight to the point. She looked at Carl. "Right. So, how much is the antidote formula?"

"It's not for sale." Carl turned to Cedric. "Do you have a solution, Mr. Greene?"

Cedric said coldly, "I'll find a way to develop the antidote myself."

"But Mrs. Greene will be dead by the time you develop it." Carl sneered. "I might sell the formula if Noelle asks. But remember this: you owe her."

Cedric pursed his lips. "I know."

"Good." Carl handed a document to Noelle. "This is the formula for the antidote."

Noelle took the document and sighed in relief. She smiled at Carl. "How much for it?"

Carl stared at her smile. "It's been a while since you smiled at me."

Noelle paused. Carl patted her head. "My flight's today. Call me if you run into any trouble in the future."

Noelle felt uncomfortable under Carl's touch. Carl quickly withdrew his hand. "It's all in the past now. I promise it won't happen again."
