This was Noelle's first time kicking asses, and she put on an overbearing expression.
Representatives of the two families stood up and looked visibly uneasy as they glanced between Noelle and Cedric. "Ms. Liddell, w-we hadn't heard anything about that."
"That's right. Small families like ours weren't invited the dinner party."
Noelle narrowed her eyes at them. "If you know about the dinner party, how could you not know about the Greene family's public warning?"
The families exchanged glances with a conflicted expression.
Of course, the Greene family's warning had spread like wildfire. They were the wealthiest family to exist, and no one would dare ignore their word.
Laura got up and glared at Noelle. "What do you mean by that? Noelle, I never thought I'd see the day you bully others with your power."
Noelle looked up and showed a smug look. Clicking her tongue, she replied, "I'm just realizing how satisfying it is to throw your weight around. No wonder you all loved doing it so much."
Laura bristled. "How dare you!"
She turned to Cedric and continued, "This is going too far. Is the Greene family trying to monopolize everything now?"
"I'm a businessman, so what's wrong about monopolizing the market? I'm supporting whatever she says," Cedric announced coolly as he stepped in front of Noelle.
"Are you out of your mind? You were never the type to compromise your principles for a woman. Judging from how you're using your power, have you forgotten the Greene family's teachings?"
Laura smugly replied, "To be an honest businessman and never bully the weak. Never engage in malicious competition that ruins the market."
Noelle chucked as she glanced at Cedric. "Sounds like your family teachings are pretty strict."
Laura smirked. "Yet now Cedric is violating them all for you. How can he explain that to his ancestors?"
