Xenia's face went pale with fear. "Why are you going so far to fight against me?!"

Noelle slapped her across the face and replied, "Because your entire family is rotten to the core! You killed my parents and then enjoyed a comfortable life living with our family for so many years. Do you really think you would get out of this unscathed?"

Xenia was still unwilling to accept reality. "But I never even asked to come here in the first place! You're the ones who adopted me!

"Let's call the police. An investigation will tell us whether you're innocent or not."

"Don't call the police!" Xenia shouted as she clung to Wyatt.

Wyatt turned to Noelle and said, "That's enough, Noelle. It's not like the money being embezzled was yours. What right do you have to speak so much on the matter?"

Noelle nodded and replied, "Okay, that's fair."

She then sat down on the couch and fell silent. Donovan gave her a quick glance and said, "Let's call the police."

"Donovan, you mustn't call the police!" Wyatt replied.

Donovan replied, "What, do you plan to cover for the stolen money yourself? You must be out of your mind, Wyatt. We're never letting such a vile woman like Xenia around our family ever again!"

He had finally seen Xenia's true colors after being completely tricked by her for all these years.
