Noelle then asked Barnaby to place her parents' memorial portraits in the most obvious spot in the room.
"Noelle, what are you doing?" Frank asked.
Noelle turned to look at the rest of the Liddells and replied, "Can't you see? I'm paying my respects to Mom and Dad and telling them about the truth of the car accident after being kept in the dark for so many years."
Frank's face became filled with guilt. Donovan, who was unable to meet his parents' eyes in the photos, lowered his head in shame. Wyatt took a look at the black and white photos of his parents and immediately lost all of his arrogance from moments prior.
The entire living room fell quiet once more.
Noelle stared at the younger looking version of her parents in the photos and her tone turned softer. "Mom, Dad, if you're seeing this. We're no longer being fooled by your enemies. And don't worry, we'll definitely avenge you."
After that, she turned back to the rest of the Liddells and continued, "Now, let's talk about how we should deal with Xenia in front of Mom and Dad. Wyatt, you go first."
The previously confident and self-righteous Wyatt was now much more timid than usual. He could not bring himself to speak in front of his parents' memorial portraits.
Noelle stared at him and continued, "Speak, Wyatt. You had a lot to say just now, didn't you?"
Wyatt lowered his head further and remained silent.
Xenia quickly grabbed Wyatt by the hand and pleaded, "Wyatt, I don't want to go to jail!"
The evidence was strong enough that there was no way out for her, even if she tried to deny her involvement. That was unless the Liddells decided not to hold her accountable. But now, Noelle had brought out the photos of her deceased parents in order to pressure the rest of the family.
How utterly despicable, Xenia thought.
Wyatt was visibly conflicted against Xenia's plea for help. "But how am I supposed to help you after what you've done? You haven't given us a single useful lead."
Noticing that the tide was not in her favor, Xenia looked up at Donovan and said, "Donovan, it's not like I didn't provide any leads. Noelle must be the one who stole the money! She's back to cause all this trouble in order to distract us all!"
Noelle turned to her and replied, "You're saying that I took the money?"
Xenia shouted, "That's right! You already found my father, so of course you found the money, too! Isn't it obvious? You've always wanted Donovan's project to fail so that he couldn't compete with Maple Enterprise, didn't you?"
Every single point she said was a direct hit on Donovan's insecurities.
He turned to Noelle and said, "I'm sure you know just how important the money is to the company. Are you really sure that you never found it?"
Noelle almost burst out laughing after hearing his question. She could not believe that he was actually suspecting her of taking the money. When she looked at Donovan's doubtful expression, she realized that he was genuinely suspecting her.
