"Mia? How would I know where she is?" Salena had no intention of admitting anything.

She had poured a lot of money into this investment, and if she couldn't at least break even, there was no way she could justify it to the family.

Noelle straightened her back. She supposed it wasn't that shocking since everyone connected to the Merlocks likely knew already. Moreover, getting the intel wouldn't have been hard for someone like Salena.

Noelle hissed, "Is that a threat?"

"You can take it that way. Just because you're young and have someone powerful backing you doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. If you don't want Cedric getting dragged into trouble because of you, I suggest you keep your mouth shut."
