Chapter 174 Don’t Touch Me
“Let go. Don’t touch me,” Nella said in a low voice, frowning.
Hearing that, Alfred let out a soft chuckle.
He looked her up and down, and the hand gripping her arm didn’t loosen at all.
“Don’t touch you?”
As if on purpose, the hand on her arm brushed against her twice.
“You’re my wife. I can touch you whenever I want.”

As his words fell, he deliberately stepped closer, pinning Nella against the corner of the hallway outside the private room.
“Refuse me one more time, and I won’t just touch you. I’ll also…”
He leaned down, his voice brushing her ear. “… kiss you.”
His breath was soft and warm, shamelessly curling around her ear.
Nella instinctively leaned back.
But behind her was the cold, hard wall. There was nowhere for her to go.
She clenched her teeth and lifted her gaze, meeting Alfred’s wicked eyes head-on, without the slightest hint of shyness or panic.
Instead, those usually gentle eyes were now clear and calm.
Looking at Alfred, she curved her lips into a mocking smile and said, “Mr. Keywood, who taught you such cheesy pickup lines?”
The flirtatious smile at the corner of Alfred’s mouth froze.
His eyelid twitched.
Cheesy?
This woman actually called me cheesy?
Alfred felt so furious that his chest started to ache.
While he was still stunned, Nella shoved him aside and said, “Your grandpa’s still waiting. Don’t waste time.”
With that, she walked past Alfred and headed toward the ordering area.
Alfred stood there, his entire body radiating a very clear “I’m pissed” aura.
Camelia clearly told me last night that her puppy hit on her just like this, and she totally melted.

Chapter 174 Don’t Touch Me
So why doesn’t it work on Nella?
Doesn’t she keep a puppy too?
Doesn’t her puppy also flirt with her like this, to the point where she doesn’t even want to go home?
The more Alfred thought about it, the angrier he got.
Staring hard at Nella’s calm expression not far away, he realized he wasn’t actually that angry.
What he felt instead was a sense of helplessness, caused by her distance and cold indifference.
In the end, he let out a sigh and walked over, his expression dark.
Nella was explaining Regis’s dietary restrictions to the server.
“Alright, ma’am, I’ve noted everything down.”
The server nodded. “Is there anything else you’d like?”
Nella shook her head. Seeing Alfred walk over, she asked, “Do you want to order anything else?”
Alfred glanced at the dishes Nella had already picked. Every single one was something Regis liked.

He raised an eyebrow, swallowed the dishes he’d been about to name, and said, “Since you’ve already ordered, then you can handle the rest. You know what I like anyway.”
Nella froze.
Nella had no idea what came over Alfred. She was just about to tell him to order himself when Alfred said, “I don’t feel comfortable leaving Grandpa alone in the private room. I’ll go check on him.”
With that, he turned and strode away.
With no other choice, Nella ordered a few more dishes from the server.
“That’s all.”
“Alright, ma’am. If there are no further requests, I’ll send the order to the kitchen right away.”
