Chapter 48 Something Is Off

Alfred fell silent.

He looked at Sergio coldly, his voice just as icy. “Do you want me to give you an award or something?”

angry now?

Sergio cleared his throat twice and said seriously, “Mr. Keywood, here’s the thing. My wife has a great temper. She’s gentle. When I occasionally make her unhappy, I take the initiative to apologize and make it up to her, and she forgives me pretty quickly.”

He paused for a moment. “Of course, I never make mistakes that cross the line. Those are unforgivable.”

With that in mind, he said, “Mr. Keywood, women need to be coaxed. If Mrs. Keywood is upset with you, why don’t you just try comforting her?”
