On Her Daddy's Bed (Adeline and Luciano) novel Chapter 25

Authors pov.

Mira a maid in the mansion, walked in holding a tray of food in her hand.

Her legs froze at the door and her hand quivered, sending the tray of food down to the floor in mare fright.

“Oh, my goodness... I am so sorry...” She squirmed and turned to face the door.

Axel quickly covered Hazel, with the duvet, before turning towards Mira who was shivering and contemplating if to go out.

“One step further and you would die by my hands.

Her both legs met the ground and she stood still, her body quivering and shaking from fear.

His voice was calm and composed, but Mira could feel the anger from the undertone.

She held onto her clothes trembling and squirming in discomfort as she felt Axel approaching her from behind.

“Turn around and stare at me.”

In one stern voice, he instructed and she took a 180 turn, her face glued to the ground her hands fondling her cloth, fear evident in the quivering sight of her body.

“You would not live an hour further if I repeat myself.” the undertone of his voice was really stern and it scared Hazel on the bed even more.

Immediately her pair of brown eyes found his grey eyes and his hands gripped her neck, holding onto it tightly while she shrieked and whimpered in executing pain, as he dug his nails into the core of her neck.

“Why didn't you knock.” His grip around her neck tightened and she coughed out profoundly.

“Axel!!!” Hazel flinched. Fearfully she stood up from the bed and approached thwith the duvet covering her body.

The look in his eyes was very dreadful, and it didn't look like he would listen to anyone, not even Hazel.

Mira had committed a great sin and he would not forgive her an inch.

“One step closer, Hazel. Just one step closer and I will make sure she stops breathing.”

Her legs halted at that statement and she held onto the duvet that was covering her body staring at the entire scene in awe.

He had switched from calling her momma to calling her Hazel, and it sounded really serious, however, that was not her insinuation, his grip on Mira was becoming really tight, and her legs were shaking

already, her hands quivering and tears were rolling out of her eyes already, while she kept battling to breathe.

Hazel stood still watching how Axel had changed from being so loving to this monstrous.

“Would you do this to me if I was in her shoes?” her voice trembled and his face softened his hands slowly drifted from Mira’s neck and she fell to the floor instantly.

His hands tightened into a fist as he stared at her, his face was quite expressionless.

“Get out!”

She sprang up from her feet and rushed out of the room panting heavily,

He batted his lashes softly and turned to Hazel.

“Momma,” his voice came out softly, and she scoffed.

“No call me Hazel, that's my name, that's the name you referred to me a minute ago,” she yelled and he batted his lashes softly.

He deeper his hands Into his pocket and sighs.

He took a step closer and she took a step backward.

“Look, momma, I am sorry. But she was wrong.”

She shook her head negatively and took another step backward.

“Sorry? go tell it to that young lady, Axel. How could you be so cruel? Do you hurt people that way? Just because you own this mansion and you shelter them and pay for their work doesn't make you a God to them, Axel. How did you turn this monstrous?”

Axel licked softly on his lower lips, seeing the angry sight of her infuriated him so much but there was something he liked about the nagging her, the subtle sound of her voice, he wish to bend her over right this minute and go balls deep into her, or shut her up with a kiss, either of the two.

“I am sorry momma.” his gaze soften as he took a few steps closer to her.

“Do not come close to me, and do not be sorry. Tell me if you weren't fucking me, would you have been this nice to me?”

Her words triggered the anger he was trying so hard to suppress but he breathed in softly, even though it was so obvious how that words pierced him.

“Why would you even say that, momma? You are a part of my family, momma. I would never hurt you.” he breathed out trying to anger that had hitched up in his throat some while ago and took a step closer.

“Don't you dare come close, don't you dare try to touch me, you monster. You are a monster, you are malevolent, Axel and I never want to have anything to do with you.”she roared out in tears and his heart stiffened at such sight, with that she squirmed around and left the room, dragging to duvet through the hall way till she found her room, her limping legs aching even more.

She walked into her room and slammed the door hard behind her, she leaned against it panting angrily and trying to catch her breath.

“Such a rascal for being so inhuman.” she cursed frantically before walking into the bathroom.

She slumped into the bathtub and allowed the cool water to engage with her skin and slowly she began to massage herself softly the thoughts of Axel invading her mind.

She snapped back reminding herself that she is still very much angry with him.

After a few minutes of bathing, she rushed back to the room with a towel tied around her waist, fixed herself into something brief yet classy, before storming out of the room to see Tracy with her limping legs.

She asked around the maids and they directed her to the room, Tracy was staying in.

After several walks, she pulled up to the room, placed a gentle knock on the door, and awaited a response.

“Come in.” Tracy’s tin voice made it past the door and Hazel pulled the door open.

“Good morning Tracy_” she made to say, however, her words were snatched from her mouth.

“I guess you wanted me to die of anxiety before coming to say hello.” she snapped at Hazel just rolled her eyes at the dramatic Tracy.

“I should be complaining about that, Tracy. I mean who leaves an anxious patient for 9 hours without checking up.” she advanced into the room that looked heavenly and magnificent.

Aside from her room and Axel, Hazel could swear that she had never been in another room in this amazing mansion.

It was not the size of the house that baffled her, she had lived in her father's mansion for a year but the age of the man that has this whole endorsement, to her, Axel was too young to have archived all of these wins all by himself, without a father, and probably without a mother, also.
