Author’s POV
The next morning, Hazel stepped out of the kitchen, her hands carefully holding a tray with breakfast. She set it down on the dining table, dressed casually in a pink pant and a white crop top. Her hair was pulled back into a simple ponytail, a few loose strands framing her face, giving her an effortlessly cute look.
Tracy, seated at the dining table, watched her with a teasing smile.
“You’d make a great wife, you know?” Tracy said, her voice laced with playful humor.
Hazel rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress the small smile tugging at her lips. Tracy had spent the night here again, and Hazel was used to her best friend waking up at her place. It was a comforting habit, one that made mornings a little brighter.
“I don’t know if that’s a compliment or a challenge,” Hazel replied, walking back to the kitchen to grab the rest of the food. Tracy followed her, still trying to sneak bites from the food Hazel was preparing.
“Is there anything I can help with?” Tracy asked, picking up a piece of plantain from the frying pan.
Hazel shot her a look, raising an eyebrow. “Is there anything you can do well?”
Tracy just chuckled, unbothered. “Of course! I know how to handle cock.”
Hazel burst out laughing at the bluntness of her friend. “How can you be this hilarious?”
Tracy winked, clearly pleased with herself, as she reached for another piece of plantain. “Well, I am a woman of many talents.”
“You’re incorrigible,” Hazel scoffed, rolling her eyes as she moved to arrange the food on a steel plate, her thoughts already drifting elsewhere.
As they made their way back to the dining area, Axel and Alex appeared at the top of the stairs. Axel was shirtless, his toned body on full display, while Alex wore a tight singlet that highlighted his athletic frame. The sight of them made Hazel’s heart flutter, and she couldn’t help but glance at Axel. The past week had been full of mixed emotions, and seeing him like this stirred something deep inside her.
“Good morning, momma…” Axel’s voice, raspy and low, reached her ears, sending a shiver down her spine. Hazel’s heart leaped at the familiar term of endearment. Her legs wobbled slightly as the memories of their most intimate moments together flooded her mind. She flushed at the thought, embarrassed yet excited by how he always made her feel.
Axel stepped closer, his presence overwhelming, as he gently gripped her waist, lifting her slightly off the ground. Her breath hitched at the sensation, her body reacting to his touch in ways she couldn’t fully understand.
He leaned in, his lips brushing against her ear, sending goosebumps across her skin. “You didn’t respond to Daddy,” he whispered, his voice a mix of teasing and possessiveness. “You have a punishment waiting for you.”
Hazel’s legs quivered, and she gripped the table in an attempt to steady herself as his words lingered in her mind. “I’m going to make you drip,” he continued, his voice low and filled with promise, sending a wave of heat through her.
Before Hazel could respond, Alex’s voice cut through the tension. “You both might need another dining room… Oppressing the singles isn’t the right thing to do,” he remarked, his tone light but amused.
Axel, his face dark and intense, smiled against Hazel’s ear, his lips brushing over her skin one last time before pulling away. He glanced at Alex, giving him a nod of acknowledgment before releasing Hazel and stepping back.
Alex, ever the playful one, took a step closer to Tracy, whispering something in her ear. “You can blink now, dolphins,” he teased, his grin mischievous.
Tracy blinked in surprise, rolling her eyes at him. “You’re impossible,” she muttered before walking toward the dining table, clearly unamused by his antics. Alex followed, taking a seat next to Axel, his eyes never straying too far from Tracy.
Hazel shook her head, a soft smile playing on her lips as she glanced at the playful exchange. It was nice to see her friends so comfortable with each other, even if it meant some teasing and banter at her expense.
As they sat down, the mood shifted to a more relaxed atmosphere. The sound of clinking silverware and the occasional soft chuckle filled the room. Hazel felt a sense of contentment wash over her, a fleeting moment of peace amidst the chaos of her life.
“I must say, you’re a very nice cook,” Alex commented as he finished his meal, arranging his dirty plates with a smile. Hazel beamed at the compliment, her heart swelling with pride.
“Thank you,” she replied, her voice soft but genuine. “I hear that a lot from Tracy and my big brother.”
Alex’s smile grew wider, and he turned to Tracy, who was absentmindedly scrolling through her phone.
