“I would put calls across a few hospitals and make the surgery a success. Before that, I shall take my leave.”

Axel nodded to him and he walked away.

“Doctor….” Alexia called and he stopped halfway.

“Can I see him?”

“No…. You can't.… he is in a critical moment now and can not be disturbed.”

“He isn't leaving right?”

Hazel walked into the scene, her legs halted as she met them in that state, something moved her to a halt, her heart clenched, and she tried to console herself that something terrible must have happened for Axel to hold Alexia that close but the jealous part of her could not stand seeing her boyfriend in such state with another person.

Axel’s side eyes captured her, he darted his head in her direction and spotted her standing there.

“Hey, momma. You are here?” he had ordered a driver to pick her up and return her to the hospital cause he didn't want to risk anything.

Even though she didn't celebrate the name grandly, she liked it cause it came with so much happiness, the happiness of not being an only child or a loner, the happiness of having a brother who had been searching all years for her, the happiness of still having her best friend by her side, then lastly the happiness of being loved genuinely by the one she loved.
