Chapter 615 Lines He Wouldn’t Cross
Tyrone sat on the balcony in a lounge chair and lifted his eyes to Brad, who was sitting across from him.
Brad leaned in. “You didn’t reincarnate. You got water in your brain. Slop water.”
Tyrone didn’t respond to the sarcasm. He was doing this for Aella. He didn’t care what anyone thought.

Brad still couldn’t wrap his head around it. “Tyrone, if Aella never gets her memory back, are you really going to keep your distance forever?”
Tyrone shook his head. “I asked a doctor. They said that, given her condition, she could remember anything at any time.”
In Aella’s previous life, she recovered her memory right when she and Tyrone got married.
In this life, it would probably happen around the same time. He’d rather exile himself again than leave her with no way out.
Brad clicked his tongue twice. “I used to think you and Aella were always just Aella chasing you. Now it looks like you’re the one who’s obsessed.”
He stared hard at Tyrone. “Or is it just that she’s too young for you to touch, so you’ve been bottling it up until it scrambled your brain?”
Brad would rather believe in ghosts than believe that Tyrone had come back from the dead.
They held each other’s gaze. Tyrone saw the disbelief written all over Brad’s face.
With a quiet sigh, Tyrone adjusted his story. “I didn’t reincarnate. I had a nightmare.” It was an explanation people could accept.
Brad finally relaxed. “I knew you were just too wound up.”
He stood up, patted Tyrone on the shoulder, and said, “I even asked a doctor about your situation.”
Tyrone looked at him. “…Right.”
Brad’s expression turned serious. “Classic pre–wedding anxiety.”
Then, he couldn’t help but laugh.
He’d always thought Tyrone was calm, sharp, and calculating. He was the kind of man who could handle anything without blinking. And now he was anxious because he’d gotten engaged.
Tyrone shot him a look, lifted his glass, and took a slow drink.
Brad continued, as patiently as if he were explaining something simple. “Look at you lately. Restless, stuck in your head, not sleeping, nightmares. That’s anxiety. You’re too tense.”
He lowered his voice a little. “It’s probably for the best that Aella hasn’t moved in yet. Get some real rest. Once you’re back on your feet and the pressure of work eases, things with Aella will settle naturally.”
