Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights novel Chapter 143

Chapter 143: Fight

Eventually, Godfrey heard of it. But the matter was already before the Elders. Dax stood outside his room with Oliver while Godfrey sat, his head facing the cement floor, yet his rage made the air within the room heavy.

The entire camp was silent.

The moment Godfrey rose to his feet, Dax’s eyes gleamed, the same for Oliver, whose aura shifted sharply.

"Sit down," Dax said firmly. Though they couldn’t see each other, both sides were perceptive enough to feel the movements being made on either side.

"Give me one reason why," Godfrey’s deep voice came from the other side.

"The Captain is on his way. Wait till he comes. If you start a fight, everything will further collapse. A command has already been broken; it might get worse if a fight breaks out and you won’t be going against one man but an entire squad," Dax explained.

"So?" Godfrey’s voice rang from the other side.

Dax clenched his teeth. He knew how much of a monster Godfrey was when angry, in fact, they already knew an angry Godfrey was no different from a bomb.

Forget his summons. Him alone was a Throne Tier threat.

It would take him and Oliver just to stall Godfrey, but once his summons entered the mix, it was game over. Once Godfrey flipped, the camp would be turned upside down.

’Was Enjin mad?!’

Dax could only sigh at his bad luck. "Just sit. I know he tried to kill your mother, but she isn’t dead yet. The Elders have summoned him, we’ll all be going there soon. Just wait for the Captain."

Dax’s eyes went to Oliver, who was quiet. He also didn’t want Godfrey and Oliver to clash, as Oliver’s summon didn’t differentiate between friend or foe.

A single cut and you would remember it for the rest of your life.

"Let him out," a voice rang, prompting both Elites to turn right.

They saw Arian in a trench coat, with simple round glasses and the backside of his shoulder-length gray hair packed. He looked like a man on vacation, yet his expression was placid.

"You can come out," Dax said as both he and Oliver exhaled noticeably. They were betting on their one-year friendship should a fight occur.

Godfrey stepped out, his eyes meeting Arian’s.

"Let’s go."

A small crowd stood at the left and right sides of the hall as Enjin stood before the Elders. Everywhere was dark, with the light focused on Enjin.

The man had a calm expression, though he could still see the Elders.

"Are we going to act like his summon didn’t kill people? It had the strength to apprehend them and not brutally kill my squad members!"

"We have not asked a question and you are already speaking. In that light, you also had the strength to fight, but you chose the path of a coward. Kill the threat, it’s okay... when they’re not related to you," Inara said softly, her voice charming as if she wasn’t scolding Engin.

"Our lives are at stake here! Keep them here any longer and we’ll have Agents at our doorstep!" Enjin retorted.
