Chapter 206: Vagabonds – The Executives’ Shock

At that moment, King moved. The Kobold King’s eyes widened as it sensed him right beside it, swinging his golden trident with one arm.

It couldn’t escape as the trident took off its head. The Kobold King’s body dropped to the ground, and Percival deactivated Fusion.

He separated from his summon and stared at the Kobold’s corpse for a while before turning. Just as he took the third step, Percival sensed a grave threat, forcing him to turn himself into water.

A great blast struck him, vaporizing the water, but from the vapor, Percival reformed himself and resummoned King along with Levi while facing the Kobold King, who had transformed into a red dragon.

The transformation was instantaneous. He couldn’t even perceive when the change happened, but this dragon was much stronger than the Kobold King’s basic form. The dragon unleashed a roar that made buildings crumble before breathing an astonishing amount of flames.

Percival’s leviathan retaliated by spitting out a powerful jet stream of water. Both elements clashed heavily, causing a thick fog.

King moved through the fog, appearing beneath the red dragon. One of its eyes locked on King, and it could see that cold gaze that still spoke volumes of how King saw it as beneath him.

This made the red dragon roar furiously. In its roar of rage, King swung his trident, ripping off the huge beast’s head. Its eyes froze; it couldn’t believe King could cut through its scales, but the truth dawned as its head landed heavily on the ground.

Percival walked out of the fog with gleaming eyes. He touched the dragon’s body and muttered, "Gabriel, here’s a dragon’s body. We can’t let the authorities have such great material."

Suddenly, a rift tore open below the dragon, swallowing it and the head.

"Man! I’m waiting for the day I’ll get my own fruit. Your strength is something else." Isaac said as he swung over and perched on a huge pile of rubble.

Percival looked at him from the corner of his eyes. He remained silent.

"You and Godfrey, who’s stronger at the moment?" Isaac asked, a question many in the cohort wanted to know.

"Remove him from your mind, or you’ll get killed by depression." Percival told Isaac as he lifted his head to a faraway red gate that slowly grew faint.

"He’s in a league of his own." Percival added.

In a bunker that looked more luxurious than the homes of most wealthy individuals, Mrs. Athens sat behind her desk with other government officials speaking to her about the different sectors of the country that were severely affected by the dungeon outbreak.

While they spoke, Mrs. Athens’ P.A walked in hurriedly.

"What is it?" Mrs. Athens asked while the other officials looked tense. Their thoughts went dark as they thought the monsters had broken in.

This meant their death was imminent, and with it, the complete downfall of Athens. This city and nation as a whole would become a No Man’s Land right after.

"One of the red gates has been closed." The P.A’s announcement made everyone freeze for a moment.

"What?!"

"We focused our forces on evacuating and fortifying the defenses of the city’s core after several failures from the rescue teams. How was the gate closed?" A lieutenant general asked with disbelief written all over his face.

"I found a stream that is currently going viral. There are humanoid summons going around saving civilians, and they’re also the ones who have kept the main army of the goblins and Kobolds away from the core; if not, we would have been breached." The P.A’s response was unbelievable.

"Cain’s Fanatics..."

"Since the red gate is closed, someone killed the Divine Tier boss." Mrs. Athens said, and it dawned on all of them. A Divine Tier summoner, one of the top few, so rare that one could barely be spotted in a population of a million, was out there.
