Chapter 707: Chapter 707: Missing Little Auntie

Judith Pierce started crying the moment she hugged the child, leaving him utterly bewildered. His big eyes were full of confusion, and his small hands scrambled to wipe away her tears.

"Grandma, don’t cry. Don’t be sad. Don’t cry."

This scene made Judith Pierce even more emotional. She hugged little Noah tightly, then, feeling she was losing control, she quickly said, "Noah, don’t be scared. Grandma just missed you so, so much."

Noah wrapped his arms around her neck. "I missed Grandma too."

His singsong, childish voice and innocent words were like a knife twisting in Judith Pierce’s heart.

Her heart filled with an even deeper hatred for Sunny Reed.

’So vicious!’

’How could anyone be so cruel to such a sweet, well-behaved child!’

’And he was her own son, too!’

Judith Pierce released him. "Grandma is going to go wash her face. I’ll be back to play with you in a little while."

"Okay!"

Little Noah nodded emphatically.

Then, he looked toward the people who had just entered, and his voice danced with excitement. "Little Uncle, Little Aunt!"

He spread his arms and wiggled, wanting a hug from Walker, but a nearby maid held him in place.

"Young Master, please don’t squirm. Sir is coming right over."

"What’s wrong with Little Uncle’s eyes?" Noah asked, pointing to his own eyes in confusion.

Leaning on Chloe Reed for support, Walker had reached the sofa. He reached out until his hand found Noah Grant, then he ruffled his hair. "My eyes are hurt, so I can’t see for a while," he said. "Will Noah protect his little uncle?"

"Yes!"

Noah’s voice rose in volume. "I’m a big boy now! I’ll protect Little Uncle!"

Then he turned his head to Chloe Reed. "And Little Aunt, too."
