“Please…” I pleaded, trying to push his face away from between my

legs, which were still trembling slightly.

tying his sneakers and stood up again. “But that doesn’t mean I agree.

And we both know exactly what your hesitation means.”

“That you’re still not sure,” he stated, heading toward the door while

putting on his jacket,

“It’s not that…”

“I won’t be long,” he said as he reached the door.
