The woman pleaded repeatedly for mercy before Kane finally let her go. He gripped her wrist, his voice hoarse.

“Pregnant and still acting out. Bad girl.”

Julia leaned into his arms, her voice soft and coy.

“I was just worried about you being all pent up.”

Kane chuckled lightly, pinching her cheek.

“Jealous?”

Julia huffed and turned her face away.

“Alpha, I understand. I’ve never thought about competing with Aria for the Luna position.”

Kane pulled her into his embrace.

“Alright, don’t be upset. After the honeymoon, I’ll set aside a whole week just for you, okay?”

“Don’t worry. Even after I become mated, I’ll never neglect you or the child.”
